'10 OK ATH Demarco Cobbs

I was there and talked this kid on Saturday. Nice kid & great looking athlete none the less. He gave me a top 4of GA, LSU, TN & UF. He is taking a visit to UF on TN gameday I know that. He said he is listing OU as an interest to keep heat from instate fans. He said he will end up at an SEC school. Not much new information, but I always kinda thought OU was in the picture more. I know UF is not hot on the trail after this kid. Could end up a Vol. Also added, "It would be nice to see TN have someone to throw me the ball."

That would be nice.

I am curious are you a reporter or just a fan. Also curious because his last three interviews in the last week all stated UT,UGA,UA,UF as his main four and LSU and OU trailing. Not that it matters why in interviews he mentions us but yet to you he doesn't. Just curious since you have the inside scoop.

One more thing is if UF isnt hot on the trail for this kid why would they give him a paid Official Visit for a home game and if they are not and he was interested in UT, you would think he would come there to see them play on an Official visit. The reason he eliminated USC and Texas was because the lack of interest from them and was not going to waste a visit on them.

Probably a fan who went to the Friday Night Lights camp.

No, I'm not a reporter, just a fan. I went to the Gridiron 7 on 7 games b/c there are many kids there who are committed to play at UF & others we are recruiting, like Demarco. I just had an opportunity to discuss football with Demarco while the final game was going on. Nice kid, we spoke for about 10 minutes. He did mention UA, I am mistaken. I mean, I'm sure UF is showing interest in this kid, he's a physical specifmen. However, I believe UF has "bigger fish to fry", IMO. Not saying Demarco isn't a stud, cause he is. I just think there are higher athletes / recievers on our board at the moment. Demarco didn't even go to FNL. Mostly, we are on the kids (Dunkley, McCartney, McCay) who came to FNL. I do not know it all, but I did speak with him and he did mention UA, I'm mistaken.

We have lead for this guy for awhile from what I understood. He is an amazing athlete IMO. I want him bad. I am not up to date on these rumors of teams backing off but he wowed people at earlier camps.

I live in Tulsa and have seen him play. He is a great athlete but may not have a position at the next level. He ran 11.44 at oklahoma's 4a state championship this spring and that seemed to cause some teams to back off. If he were 6'5'' nobody would question his speed but at 6'1'' everyone does.

Jerry Rice ran a 4.7. So what about open field speed?

I think we're ahead of Georgia. Have you seen they're young receivers. If they don't win the championship soon I'd be surprised. You guys can rag on Richt if you want but he'll win a championship in the next 3 years.

Until he makes some defensive staff changes, no he won't...

thats what they said 3 years ago bub.

Unproven QB and lost their star RB. Yes some good WR including Green but not to sure you can call them the best in the country. I think 2nd in the SEC East this year is wide open.

Tide fans never read. They'll which means they will. Which means in the future. Also the Caleb King will be a great replacement for Moreno.
