What I was trying to say was nobody really thought we had any chance at all with either Leifheit or Luc and then the last month or so we got Leifheit to visit us and then come back again and he's really liking it here and we may lead for him. As for Luc nobody thought we had any chance at all of getting him and depending who you talk to we are in 2nd or 3rd for him. With his visit coming this weekend and getting to Know Monte we very well could have a shot at signing him on NSD. Pretty much I just wanted to say how great of a job our coaches are doing and behind the scenes we never know who they are talking to and who we really have a chance with.

Tennessee has a good chance with Luc if he makes his "own decision". He has been in constant contact with the staff and already has a very good relationship with them. I think the biggest obstacle are outside influences / family pushing him to FSU and/or UF.

What do you think of Leifheit, MH? He tripped on his own dime just a week after his official. What do you make of that?

I was shocked. I think the staff was shocked.

I think it is a UNC-TN battle.

Last week at this time I would have said UNC is the definite leader. Now I'm to the point where I'm not so sure about that.

Hope it happens before NSD as he is an early enrollee.

My sentiments exactly. I think once this staff gets a foot in the door, they are great at getting in the house. They have that foot in the door with Leifheit. I don't think he ends up at USC, which he claims is one of his final three.

Wasn't there a statement somewhere saying that his dad was highly favorable on the visit? That a big key in recruiting IMO, is getting to the parents. I know it was with mine.

It is most of the time, but there are still exceptions (ie Prater).

I'm feeling more and more confident about him though.

Has anyone ever answered if he's related to the Brandon Leifheit we have on roster though? Thats not exactly a common name.

Thats a very good question. With a uncommon name like that its a possibility.

I relly hope that we can land this kid.

I've wondered that as well. I don't think there is a relation because Brandon is from Murfreesboro.

I hope TJ saw UNC lose to winless (before today) UVA and move to 0-2 in ACC play

(and conversely I hope Morgan Moses didn't notice!)

is there any video available on T.J. ? i sure would love to see some, just got done watching some video on Bray, and he looks very good ! future looks bright here at
