Urban only said he was retiring because he wanted to be on the down low while he was secretly recruiting... He is doing something very secrative and is doing a good job at it... If somehow Tebow says hes magically returning again urban will have some sort of extreme orgasm and will have to retire... so lets pray Tebow causes Urban to get excited.

hey for Tebow Urban's just one booty call away.

I've had this theory that Urban was stepping down from the gators only so he could leave his wife and kids. Then he and Timmy could go retire together in a snow loft in Vermont.

Didn't we finish ahead of UF last year?

Is there not a small difference amongst the top 5 recruiting classes?

Are we not fulfilling our biggest needs for O and D?

Do you feel the talent gap disappearing?

Do we not have the better coaches to get our boys ready to play?

I say yes to all of the above.

I think there is a difference when you have a class like the one UF has. UF and USC have been the kings of putting together the "monster class" over the last few years. Both of those schools always recruit well. UF's 2008 and 2009 class was very high on quality and kept us in the Top-5 range. But every 3 years or so UF and USC tend to put together a "mega" class that brings everything together. UF is currently putting together a class similar to the 2007 one.

He had a great game but I think you guys maybe over rating the D guys they do have a big adv. in the all star games.

Look at how well that 2007 group has done. Bottom line is that without Tebow and Harvin Meyer did very little offensively.

Texas and UGA have done less with their talent than UF, but it is remarkable that with the mega class of 2007 Florida did not take the dominant advantages they had on paper and translate them on the field.

I have been very impressed with the results of the UF defense, but I know that when UT has talent that is close to the UF talent, we will be able to win on the field. The first time that will show up will be in 8 short months...

i know, i mean all they did was win the BCS championship their second year. Talk about underachieving.

Lane has proven to be such a better coach than Meyer, of course with talent even remotely close to Florida, you guys will just roll right over us.

You know noles, if you don't want orange shaded opinions, you don't have to be here. I'm just sayin.

Lets compare trophy cases. It's hard to really support a fellow Vol brother on this one. They've got 2 National Titles and we're missing bowl games.

Make that 20 LONG months and I'd agree with you.

i liked the part too about doing very little offensively without Tebow and Harvin. never mind he just excluded everything at Florida except the first season. let's say it's bizarro world and Bray and Ambles spearhead them on an amazing four year run. at its conclusion would i get to claim without those Kiffin's done very little offensively?

Hate to admit...but he's right.

Dude might have meant that he doesn't do much when he doesn't have BOTH Tebow and Harvin, which would include this year. This offense wasn't all that explosive.

all i know is after seeing floyd and powell play yesterday im pooing my pants. could have sworn those were 26 year old men out there. we're gonna have our hands full with those two to say the least

Florida had almost the exact same yardage per game as last year even with the injuries on offense. red zone efficiency is what inexplicably dropped off but the Gators still were second in the conference in scoring offense.
