'10 PREP OL Morgan Moses

have they had any interaction with Moses at this point? Since he is at the prep school he could enroll next year with the 2010 class ...is that right?

Yes... With the way UVA football has been going (I have a a first hand account... I got to most of their sporting events... Go to almost all their basketball and football games and have a media pass and go to all the press conferences and stuff like that) I really wouldn't be surprised if he gets on board. It's obvious we need OL, he's a great fit, our staff wants him, and he has a hell of a better chance to get into Tennessee than UVA.

He also has a better chance to win. Losing to William & Mary is far more embarrassing than losing to Wyoming. Hopefully he was watching Virginia lose to an FCS school/MWC school back to back. Why would anyone want to play for that. TCU is good but damn.... I don't even think Virginia could compete in MWC. They aren't going to in the ACC.

Thanks for the info. I think you're right. Any idea what the coaches' OL board looks like?

This is just a guess, but I would say it's something like this:

1. Morgan Moses
2. John Cullen
3. Damian Robinson
4. JaWuan James
5. Arie Kouiandijo
6. T.J. Leifheit
7. James Stone
8. Chuckie Curry
9. Torrian Wilson
10. Roszell Gayden
11. Dalvin Glass

I'm sure we are still going after committed prospects like Hurst, Bendict, and Bonnell as well...

Kouiandijo is further down the list and Curry is way down the list.

Montrell, Having read some of your posts in this thread i see that you're not high on Moses, at least after his HS career ended. How much good do you think this year of prep school will do for him and in your opinion, can he be an elite lineman?

A year in prep school "could" do wonders for him.

He has the raw talent to become an elite lineman but I'm not sure if he has the desire and motivation to ever become one. Again prep school could change all of that, but I was not impressed with him out of high school. I thought he was highly overated.

with the footwork, the real possibilities we have to put a So or Fr at LT would be Arie, Moses or Crisp.

I saw James and he doesn't move well enough yet with his feet and Robinson can not handle the speed rush yet. He would start over at RT and by year two possibly three could move to the left. Crisp is committed to N.C. State, whom with a poor year, could be easier to move then Hurst who is going to play with his brother at UNC.

Hopefully Crisp sticks with NCSU because if he doesn't he'll probably end up at Georgia.

I agree with you on Stone. He will be an offensive guard in college in my opinion.

Out of all the big time commited O-linemen, which do you guys think would be the most likely the staff could sway. (other than Moses)

That is my thought as well but like you said maybe prep school will make a difference in his game. Time will tell!

No, he's uncommited now, I mean like Crisp, Hurst, and guys like that. Highly rated, commited early. I doubt we can pull any like this, but if we swayed one, which would be most likely......

i want damien robinson alot more than this guy, damien is more athletic i really hope our staff is going after him hard.

Does anyone have an update on his weight?

Seemed like he was huge last year, 340 range. Could be wrong.
