'10 PREP OL Morgan Moses

Well...he hasn't been reached as of yet by anyone from VQ from what I understand. We've been low on his list since L.Scott left and he hasn't said anything to make anyone believe otherwise. We'll see.

Word is around here that Kiffin is visiting Moses at MBK (his H.S.) today to make a last push for him. UVA is there as well. Kid is huge but needs ALOT and I mean ALOT of work.

Moses is still trying to set up a visit to Ohio State and will make his announcement after National Signing Day.

From the UNC site. Moses' coach says Morgan will not decide on signing day, as he is still trying to set up a visit with Ohio State.

Why even bother having a "signing day" if a recruit can decide to chose after that date?

Seems like alot of kids are doing that this year

there may have been one or two, but I dont recall it getting as much pub as TP. Who were they?

I can't name them off the top of my head. But I know it happens quite a bit. Pryor was just highly publicized. There is a signing day because it is the first day of the signing period. Lots of kids don't sign till the middle or near the end of the signing period.

"I will select Virginia, North Carolina or Tennessee. Those are the three schools that I have narrowed my list down to. All three schools have done a great job recruiting me."

You have to remember, we were completely out of it with Moses at one time. The coaches have done a good job getting back in it with him. I hope he just has to spend a year in Prep, but either way, he will be needed next year or the year after.

My gut says Virginia. But we shall see.

NSD has always been the FIRST day a kid could sign an LOI. They can sign until sometime in March or April. That hasn't changed. There are just more of them taking more time... possibly to see where everyone else is going.

•Morgan Moses, the nation's No. 6 OT prospect, won't enroll at Virginia as a freshman and will instead head to Fork Union Military Academy this fall, Norm Wood reports:
Moses, a 6-foot-7, 345-pound offensive tackle from Meadowbrook High in Richmond, didn't attain minimum NCAA academic requirements for enrollment. He was considered by most recruiting analysts to be one of the nation's top five offensive tackle recruits last year.
