Wow. This could be a very sweet thing. We need DB's. Alabama shouldn't get this kid...he would be dumb to go to Memphis...I highly doubt Memphis is worth skipping his senior year for. Ole Miss and UT are the only two that I think are considerable to a kid like this. And who knows....maybe Dooley found this guy and scooped him up? This would be awesome.

And Eric.....I will NEVER tick you off. Wow. Burn him baby!

I hope we land him. People should keep in mind that for every recruit drawn to X because of his 'swag', there will be recruits drawn to CDD because of his old-fashioned charm. Lets face it the guy looks+acts like the cross between a politician and a southern evangelist.

I just read how he's already been committed to Memphis once. You don't think he's going to recommitt do ya?

Does anyone have a video on him? I'd like to watch him. His stats seem good, good size and all. I would love to have him this coming year, would make our DB's even better and deeper.

There is one on Rivals, if you have a sub.

I don't Eric. Normally, everything winds up on here anyways. And yes, I agree with you, we do have the biggest need for him, and the best opportunity for him to play, and I don't think he would be interested in that if he didn't skip his senior year of high school to do what he's doing. This kid obviously wants to get on the big stage as quickly as possible. Another reason I want to think he's going to UT or Ole Miss over Memphis...that's like broadway over community theater.

We signed 3 DB's last year, Bama signed 6, and LSU signed 2. LSU signed 5 Athletes, Tennessee signed 2, and Bama signed 1. So, Bama and LSU have 7 DB/ATH signees, and UT only has 5. Will be interesting.

So LV you don't think he'll recommitt to Memphis? I really don't know where he could head. I also thought Ole Miss could be a strong possibly b/c of location, etc.

Really, I think it's either UT or Memphis. Bama doesn't have the room according to their people and they are loaded at DB anyways.

Porter is dangerous and he would probably immediately be a starter there.
