Could you imagine having those 2 on the ends and Jeff Luc in the middle linebacker position?!? That would be flat out scary!

He was on sports talk radio here in Chattanooga yesterday. One of the hosts kepts saying "seriously Jacquez, if I looked like you I would NEVER wear a shirt!" LOL!

I also heard him on Sport Talk yesterday and he is very articulate. He seems to be All Vol and he is keeping in touch with other recruits and they are planning on going to the Georgia game as a group which Jacques thought would draw them closer. I think he is also contacting potential recruits

I figured it was Joe. I didn't realize Smith was gonna be on dangit! Who was it they were talking about and said they clocked him with a calendar? Wasn't football, golf maybe I can't remember. But I laughed out loud in the car.

I have never heard one negative comment about Jacques, only good things. I can't wait to see him on the field!

I'm telling you, this kid-barring injury should be an all american at UT. He just posesses too much upside not to. He has the talent, the work ethic, the attitude, the intelligence, everything it takes! Like I said, barring injury this kid's future should be bright!

Scroggins was touring the UT campus with his family but did not work out during the camp. With help from mammoth Louisiana defensive tackle commitment Anthony Johnson (6-foot-4, 300), the personable and well-spoken Smith used a defensive drill to illustrate to Scroggins and his family the benefits of joining the Vols.

"We were doing some stunting drills, and me and Anthony were showing him how fast we can get to the quarterback," said the 6-3, 240-pound Smith, who is the state's top-rated prospect and is projected to play defensive end. "I told him, 'Trust me, you don't want to be on the wrong side of that.'

that is the best recruiting article ive read in a long time

"Alabama coaches have said I'm the first player to ever say he didn't like the campus, so they want me to come back down for one more visit," Smith said. "When I went there, it just felt awkward. None of the players or coaches were talking to each other or interacting like we had at Tennessee. I got the impression that I didn't want any of the guys they had committed to be my teammates.

Can we say potentially future top 5 all time defensive lineman in UT history???? Theres something special about this kid, i have nothing but good feelings about him. Hes a prime example of what it means to "bleed orange" and he is representing our university the way it should be.

Might be jumping the gun a little, but I love the enthusiasm!! Jacques has such an upside, I think his energy and athleticism will be such an asset to our defense....I could see him having the potential to be used a lot as a freshman.

Yeah it is waaaaaay to early to call him top 5. I mean top five is up there with Haynsworth, Henderson, and others like that.
