if they were enrolled for 12 credit hours and they were on campus, then they were "locked in" to the Vols' program and could not change their commitment without sitting out a transfer year.
Monroe said he could not speak for any of the other enrollees, but Smith didn't fall into that category because he had not yet enrolled for classes. He had planned to do that on the first day of the semester.
So he just happened to be on campus wondering around if he hadent picked his classes ? They had to be chose by tuesday class begun on wensday..... He was at the meeting with bray and others.Iirc
There is no way Jacques did not have his classes set up on the eve first day of school.
Monroe said Smith has already looked into the matter with the SEC, and will be able to go to another school without penalty if he so chooses.
my friend is at the game right now and said Smith is in the second row of the student section TIFWIW
Smith was scheduled to begin classes at UT today but has decided to put off enrolling to allow time to discuss his future with his family.
So the guy at the Basket ball game getting all this attention must be thinking "this is pretty cool"...mean while he is just there for the Budlight.
i said u was spreading misinformation??? where??? i dont care where he goes if he wants to leave then go...... but hes at the basketball game ??? why to play for bruce pearl now??? come on man use ur damn head
Former Ooltewah defensive end Jacques Smith is among the many wavering. Smith did not attend class at Tennessee on Wednesday and will use the next few days to decide whether he will stay with the Vols or pursue another school such as Georgia or LSU.
"This is a business," Smith said, "and everybody's making a business decision that's best for them."
