'10 TN LB Justin Maclin

I can't wait till he meets Eric Berry coming across the middle....

oh wait, nm.....:)

Wow, dude. You're embarrassing the rest of us with your fudging of facts and your delusions about Florida's success being about one player. Please refrain from discussing things you are not informed about. Guess that pretty much excludes you from posting though...

That's still 4 more instate players than we have committed. There's no question that Bama is helped by their instate talent. Take a look at last year. Not only are they landing the instate guys, the instate guys are freaks.

Sabo or Saban Jr. whatever you call yourself. You are so caught up in facts. It's what we call trash talking. It doesn't always have to be facts just something to make the rivals have some doubt in they're minds. But I guess since your always RIGHT in your mind you want to call me out for bothering other fans.

It's just so hard for us to lockdown the state when the kids did not grow up loving UT like the Bammer kids do. Our state's cupboard isn't exactly bare. Take away Florida, Cali, and Texas, and I think our top 5 or 6 in-state players(Jacques, Stone, Maclin, Malone, O.C. Brown, Keon) will match up with anyone's in the country this year, and Tennessee is absolutely loaded in 2011...

Sucks we lost this kid to LSU.
Thats 2 of the best players in Memphis leaving the state.

I think you have managed to aggravate very single person on this website.

you got me there.
if all you have on me is a typo and all I have on you is hundreds of people on this board laughing at your "evaluations". Then I guess you got the upper hand big man.

"Laughing" is too kind. Our resident pretend scout's evaluations are "coke-out-the-nose, stomach pain" funny.

Brunetti got me looking over the memphis kids, and got me wondering back on this one.
Did UT give up on him, or did they ever recruit it very hard?
Seems to have good specs.

We definitely wanted him, but he was and still is a lock for LSU.

He admitted that we recruited him the hardest, he just doesn't like us.

"I found out that Alabama was offering me after my visit. That was great news because I have Alabama on top right now. I love everything about the school, but most of all I like Coach Saban because he likes to win," said Maclin. "I had a great time yesterday touring campus and checking out the academic tour. Their defense would be perfect for me. Coach Saban likes me at 'Jack' linebacker. I love that I can rush the passer and just pin my ears back at that position.

"I plan on checking out a lot of schools, but Alabama made a great impression on me. I have offers right now from LSU, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas Tech and several more. I don't have any other visit plans right now but I will definitely be going back to Alabama."

Looking good so far for the TIDE!!!!

i told you not to read too much into it

If I had to guess, he will prolly still remain at LSU. If he does change it will be going to Memphis. Him being closer to home and still with Porter is a large pull.

With Williams really being quoted like he is already at Ole Miss without being bold enough to say it, these LBs are becoming more and more important.
