I've been watching this guy play since he was on the freshman team at Wilson Central. His dad, Tony, played for UT back in the late 80's. I've talked to Tony and he said that there would be an offer and that's where Cam wants to go, but that was under the old regime. Tony figured that Fulmer was on his way out - we spoke about this so I don't expect Cam's intentions to change, but whether the new staff sees something they don't like is hard to say.

He was part of a line that allowed for 1791 yards on the ground last season, a 4.88 apc, and 179 ypg. The offense was very run-oriented.

The dude has gotten huge and is bigger than his listed size of 6'5". He is very agile, moves his feet really well, but also needs to put on a lot of weight before he's ready to play at a D1 level.

He's already been offered by UTMartin He's started on Varsity since his sophomore season. And started on the Freshman team as well. Alabama, UCLA, and Vandy are also taking a hard look at him.

One of the best things is that he's an excellent student and would be able to qualify pretty much anywhere. The look he is getting from Vandy is testament to that as is his 4.1 GPA. He's an AP student.

Carlos Younger (orangeblur) has him ranked 12th in the state overall. Scout has him ranked 12th as well.

He is the teammate of Jordan Poole who is also going to be highly recruited.

Just thought you all would be interested in this.

From another team member, that is his focus this offseason. I've heard from guys on the team that he is closer to 6'7" now and much heavier. Don't know how accurate that is though. His stats are from a camp he attended last fall. He certainly has the frame to put the weight.

Just heard that Cameron's dad wants him to go to Vandy.

Vandy is on him tough...they may be the next team to offer.....I don't think his dad favors Vandy.......you are talking about a kid with strong TN ties....I think TN could get him easily if offered...

I talked to someone who spoke with Tony personally, Blur, and he would like to see him go to Vandy. UT is his next choice for obvious reasons, but Tony wants Cameron to get a good education. That said, he's going to let him make his own mind up.

My ex and soon to be again roommate's dad is best friends with Tony and he frequents their house. I will have lots of inside information on this one.

There would already be a TN offer in this one if it weren't for the coaching change. Phil promised Tony he would give Cam an offer.

Tony has always talked about TN when I talked to him....

Blur has a new article up dealing with Cameron's impressions of Jr. day at UT. Mentions the shirt ripping off fiasco in addition to some other impressions. He mentions UT as a path to the NFL as well as the connections he has to the school. I really think that Tony is going to let Cameron make his own mind up about where he wants to go. You have to think that with our need for OL and the priority to lock down the borders, UT will offer this cat.

Most every game. Both of my brothers graduated from there. I live about 10 minutes away.

Cam has picked up a Stanford offer. Blur has a new article up.

I really thing kid can exert much-need positive impact to this team. I would take his over kids with loads of God-given talent but don't know how to succeed in classroom. And an O-lineman's intelligence level has everything to do with his job at football field.

This guy bleeds orange. He grew up a TN fan(duuuh!), and will prolly commit as soon as offered.

He was a guest on VSPN radio last Friday and he told Kevin that he was not going to commit early. He said he wants to listen to what every school has to offer before he makes a decision. He seems like a very intelligent guy. He's being recruited by Stanford and Vanderbilt so you know he's no dummy.

Incidentally I still think he'll commit to the Vols. He's just a smart guy and wants to make a well informed decision.
