'10 TN OL James Stone

Its called sarcasm you toothless hillbilly. The point was, fulmer was 100 times the coach kitten could ever dream of being. Years of pain and suffering coming to volnation......:clap::clap:

Haha. Are you seriously calling us hillbillies? Take a look in the mirror you moron.

You're just itching for us to to have hired our very own Franchione/Dubose/Shula. Kinda hilarious.

You did just that....unfortunately you fail to realize it. You will soon enough. Complete panic and meltdown mode come november for you folks :):):):)

He is friends with Golden Tate, the WR that went to ND?

ND scars me more than anyone since he wants a combination of football and academics. And Notre Dame has had some success in Tennessee that last several years. But getting Tennessee talent has not really helped them in winning anything.

“Everything is still pretty much status quo,” Maplewood High (Nashville, Tenn.) head coach, Ralph Thompson said. “I don’t think Stanford is quite in the picture anymore. Definitely Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.”

Stone also has offers from the likes of California, Florida State, Clemson, Georgia and Texas Tech, and plans on taking all five of his official visits before deciding. He has already scheduled one to South Bend in October, when Notre Dame hosts USC. Back in April, Stone and Thompson made the drive up from Nashville for the Notre Dame spring game. Stone had a great time on his visit, touring the campus and the facilities, taking in the atmosphere and signing autographs, and meeting some of the players on the team including fellow Tennessee product Golden Tate.

Finally got the bowl streak monkey off our backs. The TN talent ND has gotten so far, Tate and H. Smith, are badasses. We'll see what Bullard can do.

How much love you going to have for Saban when you lose two of three games this year. If you think you going 12-0 again, you're crazy! By the way we are on a 2 game win streak, you on the other hand are on a two game losing streak. Your best chance at a title was last year.:the_finger:

Whatever makes you feel better buddy :lolabove:

We lost to the national champions in the sec championship game and the other team we lost to finished 13-0.....#1 and #2 respectively.....also we have crushed those vile arses for 2 years and running now. beatdown #3 coming oct 24th live in tuscaloosa> Bring eric berry....you gonna need him.

youre trying to justify your loss to Utah? We lost to wyoming from the same conference, but atleast we don't make excuses.

Come January 2010, Alabama will be the only team in the NCAA that has paid a coach $12 mil and has not one championship to show for it.

But at least Saban was able to continue the Bammer tradition of NCAA probation for another 3 years!

I love all the haters. I understand there are a few rival fans that get on here and get you upset but we are not all like that. Now for the ones that like stats, what is our record vs UT head to head. That means a little more then everyone else we all play. In regards to our team this year at UA we will be better than last year. I don't care if we go 12-0 again but we will have a better team, that I will guarantee you. Especially on offense. Last year we did not expect the season we had just like all the so called experts didn't because if is suppose to be this year. But again we are picked by most to finish 2nd or 3rd in the west and are in rebuilding year again. Who cares because nothing matters until gameday. I am not living in the past, could care less about the last decade or the last two years. The only thing that matters is when UT shows up in TTown in October. The rest is for those who dread the future and need something else to look at.

In regards to Stone, if you think he is a lock have at it. The truth be told even if he is considering us he probably won't make the roster if he waits until after the season. Our spots are almost full. He also is not at our camp this weekend and I think the only two camps he has benn at is ours and UT's this summer. But we do have Ambles and Cobbs their today on a side note.

Actually it looks like four underclassman for sure starting, with possibly two more that are true freshman that could start. McClain started as a true freshman and so did Hightower. One of the starters you might be referring to is Fanney is looking to transfer. A few other returners might also make spots. Right now the word is we might only have three seniors who start for the whole season. But who knows.

You say Alabama is in a rebuilding year but you lose like 8 seniors off your starting d next year

My reference was that last year we were suppose to be rebuilding and that 2009 was our year to compete for the conference.

Also I doubt we will have any spots left for 2010 by the time NSD rolls around. If Stone waits till than he wont be able to play us because we wont be recruiting him. We already have 3 OL, 2 that play OT like Stone. Two of them are All-Americans. We have another top 150 OT that might be commiting soon and if he does it is believed we wont recruit anymore O lineman.

Your D will be the same as last year. No doubt. But you lost a ton on O.

3 starting OL
1 RB
1 starting WR
1 starting TE, 1 back up TE
...And your starting QB. I really doubt you have a great O this year.

Bama's O depends on WR play. Julio will get double. So the other WR has a big time opportunity. Problem is how long can his line hold up to let a the new QB find him? The RB play should be good. If the QB falls apart it will be a loooong year for BAMA fans.

We also have one of the top OL JUCO who came in the spring along with Flukerwho is the #1 rated OT in the country last year. Since Smith did pretty well there as a True Freshman I think this kid will be fine. The WR is Jones maybe the best WR in the country. BTW our top 3 recievers in receiving yards from last year all return. One senior, 2 sophmores. Tight End will have a Senior who had to sit out last year because he transferred from GTech and he is better than the ones we lost. Our RB situation is even better a sophmore(last year true freshman) that rushed for 700 plus yards not to mention he led the team in TDs with a true freshman RB that will probably start over him. Our QB is better than JPW from last year.

Wrong.

Julio got doubled this year and still had 900+ yards. The fact is some freshman can play right away and if you recruit the right ones they will. Just like Brown should be a major impact as a freshman at Ut this fall.

McElroy is a better QB with a better arm. Our team ran the ball last year so JPW fit the setup better. They said the same thing about him in HS. He set the bench behind Chase Daniels(Misouri for 3 years) Chase won 2 State 5A championships and broke all sorts of records. McElroy his senior year won a championship while breaking Daniel's records. His numbers that year for a first year starter were 5800+ yards and 56 TD's not bad for riding the pine. This kid has the tools and alot more potential than JPW ever did.

Crompton was supposed to be better than Ainge, too. I'll wait until I see McElroy in action before I agree or disagree.
