'10 WA QB Jake Heaps

na crap...im lookin at his forearms, biceps, and triceps

i don't mean to nitpick here...but you said his arms look tiny compared to the rest of his body...i have no way of knowing how big his arms are but i do know that they can throw a football a whole hell of a lot harder and farther than any o-lineman with 22" arms can.

Man, I'm kinda getting bored of the same old Heaps and Scroggins talk. Hopefully Bryant dude from scout will dish us out an article soon so we can get some inside info.

You can't tell arm strength from the size of someone's arm either. It's all about the fast-twitch muscles.

i'm only arguing with you because matt said that we couldn't...but it's certainely not all about fast-twitch muscles, even though athletes that are born with the correct variation of the ACTN3 strand of DNA and are blessed with the fast-twitch capability in the muscle structure (as opposed to the longer leaner variation) are more genetically inclined to have greater arm strength and should be able to throw a football farther, the most significant determining factor as far as football is concerned will always be form and throwing motion. fast-twitch means nothing if you throw like a girl.:)

Yeah, I knew that.:p

Idk i'm skeptical about skyline... A lot of his info are "opinions" or stuff from a recruiting service that he passes along. Not saying that he doesn't know him/the family personally, but i doubt it.

Yea me to but its really starting to get on my nerve i hope he rights back so we kno 4show i remember when someone else asked him the same ques. but he never said anything.

nice.

I graduated from Skyline in 08, no real relationship to Jake but I knew him through friends and I've been a fan/follower for a while, before the actual recruiting hype began
