meant to be a sarcastic response to why SD would consider this ETSU/TN game to determine coaching superiority and not last season's when Barnes won.
This will be the Forbes 5 of ETSU product of the genius recruiting job ala SD.

I honestly hope Tyndall gets a fair shake. The penalty was pretty draconian IMO. But, I'm glad the Vols let him go. Last thing we needed.

The appeal decision is 6-8 weeks away. Don Jackson just tweeted, "NCAA enforcement staff had Tyndall fired, negotiated an immunity deal with a liar. Now, staff chief Duncan is attempting to intimidate him." Translation. DT is refusing their settlement offer. He will not trade his reputation for money.

Post the data. You can't. Pretty simple stuff. You said it. Prove it. List the recruit comparison and their star rating. This is kindergarten stuff, No data McDoug.

The problem with you guys is shallowness. You can't compare a 2* out of high school juco player who has been playing juco for one or two years to a 2* high school player. Got news for you. They are different. Forbes recruits juco men not high school boys. Juco All-Americans at that. One of his jucos from last year and his fifth year senior were two of the best five players in the SouCon. One of those is back and has a first and second team Juco All American joining him. It will be the men against the boys in December.
PS Barnes doesn't seem to know how to recruit Juco players. Guess he never had to at Texas. The mid-major coaches know how to build their programs.

Maybe Barnes prefers to recruit 4 year players out if high school over JUCOs rather than he doesn't know how to recruit a JUCO. Barnes elevated Punter's game more than Tyndall did, so it's possible that Barnes will find success making his players better every year and it will pay off having those players around to teach them for two more years.

If they cannot connect the dots and find evidence to prove that he was guilty of orchestrating academic fraud, then why would you say this? He's a better coach than what we have!

You and Buzz are notorious for getting mad and throwing a tantrum when proven wrong. You simply said "I can't believe ETSU recruits 2* and UT recruits 3*". I provided the evidence that you were too lazy (or inept, can't decide which) to look at yourself, and you spin around and throw out this drivel. You... were... wrong.

That statement is totally false. We are talking about Steve Forbes being our next head coach. Get over it! In two years, he has out recruited Rick Barnes by far. Let's see so far the won-loss record is 24-13 vs. 15-19 and December 22 in the head to head, who's gonna win. That will be data not your two and three star speculation. Once again I will be right just like I was in the other matter when everyone of you were wrong.

He wasn't just a better coach. He was going to replicate in the basketball program what Butch Jones has done in the football program. That is what these folks have lost. He was that good. The one year he recruited and coached here proved he would do just that.

Now look where we are. Instead we went from 10th in the conference to 12th. This year instead of being in the top 5 we could well be in the cellar. The pressure is on RB to perform this year and that is highly unlikely playing a team of freshmen in the SEC. That is not just my opinion, that is common sense. If you think he's gonna coach freshmen up to compete in the SEC, think again. Since you guys seem to like stars so much, these are 3 star freshmen not 4 and 5 star freshmen which the rest of the SEC has to go along with their upper class men.
