10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

Tyndall fired: March 27, 2015
Barnes fired: March 28, 2015
Barnes hired: March 30/31, 2015 (depending on if you consider the press conference as the hire date)

So, no, you were wrong SD. And your sidekick has already acknowledged that I was correct.

Confidentiality.

Funny how when I said I didn't want to reveal my source I was pretty much blasted on here by you and Buzz and now you want to throw the confidentiality card on the table? And expect people to believe you? Your a piece of work, buddy.

You missed the whole point. Word came out on Wednesday, March 25, that Barnes was out at Texas. I said he accepted the job (unofficially) before Tyndall was fired. Big difference!

Wow. Yet Barnes (not Hart, but way to go there) didn't know or even have a conversation with his boss until Saturday. But that means nothing because that goes against the conspiracy theory. You have nothing (which the article you posted didn't even have dates listed in it, though you told me to check the dates) that says anything other than what I've said.

What has been said in this thread today has no bearing on Tyndall's appeal concerning the fact that the only proof of his involvement with academic fraud at S Miss was the testimony of Adam Howard after he had received immunity for testifying. Many others were involved and none of them have corroborated AH's testimony!

I have already said that what wbt showed concerning the timeline of Rick's firing and hiring was not of consequence!

Since Howard and Rush resigned in November 2014, which is the day Tyndall was done at Tennessee, unofficially...I'd like to think Hart had spent the better part of a year, a whole basketball season getting prepared to hire a new coach as the writing was on the wall.

If the suggestion here is that Hart helped Texas fire Barnes so that he could replace Tyndall with the Rickster...I think ye gives too much credit to Bama Dave and if I am wrong, well...our AD done good.

My theory from day one. Totally blindsiding DT by firing him on Friday morning and hiring RB on Monday. Those are undisputed facts. If you think something didn't happen behind the scenes, I have a nice bridge for sale in Brooklyn.

There are 2 words in this sentence that you clearly have no clue on their meaning.

Put up or shut up you fraud.

Like I said, what's wrong with that. Tyndall was done here, we were going to need a new coach and we knew that at the start of the season. So, if Hart worked behind the scenes to make this happen or whether it was just fortunate timing, wasn't that a good thing thing for Tennessee basketball?

I really dont think DT wins this appeal. And if he were to take this to court he will get embarrassed. I think that this whole appeal and suit talks were just a ploy to try and bully the NCAA and it did not work. Plus where is DT coming up with the money to pay Don Jackson? He is pretty steep from what I hear.

The timeline was not wrong. At the time I knew the dates exactly because I followed it diligently. Doesn't matter a whole lot. Everything is documented where it matters and not in this forum. So let's just drop the discussion until we find out who is right and who is wrong. That will be a few weeks and we'll be into the basketball season.

You mean kinda like the dates for his 60min special? That exactly?

I wouldn't trust you to produce said bridge since you can't even produce a 113 page document that you claim to have.

Not if Tennessee is dragged into federal court along with the NCAA in a Sherman Antitrust violation which is where this is heading.

Ever heard of gratis! There were lots of volunteers for that from those attorneys who knew what this was all about. Many were drooling to get this case against the NCAA. Potential millions here you know. Of course, none of you have thought of that since you are defending the NCAA actions.

So that 60 minutes in Tyndall is this coming Sunday right, you did say September and well this upcoming Sunday is the last Sunday in the month...

So changing the story again.
Just a few days ago you were adamant that it wasn't about money.
Getting Tyndall's job back was all that mattered.

And I quote:
"Well, it looks like it's on their radar screen now, like they are in a nosedive!
Confirmation. The man was innocent. And guess what, this man doesn't give a damn about a settlement. He wants his reputation and his coaching career restored."

Wrong. Now looks like November. No control over when they air. There was a second interview on September 13. Lot of production goes into something this significant. Looks like right at the start of basketball season. Fire for effect by CBS to use a military term.

Bet it doesn't air in November either
