10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

Seems like I remember someone retiring. Maybe two someones retiring. Did I not just hear there were two huge Tennessee boosters helping DT start his Prep Academy because they thought he was wronged and felt terrible about it?. Think so. They know the truth and did something about it.

Get this through your thick skull. He admitted to being responsible because he was the head coach. He admitted to nothing regarding academic fraud and the NCAA found nothing connecting him to academic fraud in their entire investigation. That is not a fireable offense.

Are your panties startin to bind there buddy?

We don't know what the voices in your head keep saying to you.

It's sad that there are fans of The University of Tennessee who would rather believe a known liar named Adam Howard than to realize that a true professional named Donnie Tyndall would be willing to spend his retirement savings to prove what he is saying is the TRUTH!

These HATERS definitely have an alternate reason to hate the man. Hatred is a very negative emotion and karma will not be kind to those who bear that type of attitude!

Look at the type of recruits that our current coach has been able to bring in and compare them to our future opponents recruits. There is gonna be a lot of crying and wailing and gnashing of teeth over the next few years in our bb program and our baseball program will be regarded as something to brag about, even if their record stays the same as it has been for the past several years.

The University of Texas has been picked in one poll to be the 11th best team in America for the upcoming season. When were they last picked to be in the top 25 while Rick Barnes was the head coach. Thank you Dave Hart.

That's really rich buzz.
3 guys in the entire country think Adam Howard is a known liar and the rest think Donnie Tyndall is a lying Sleaze.
Though the evidence may be circumstantial, there is a ton of it that says Tyndall is guilty.
So you 3 boys just continue to call names and pout. It'll be over soon.

There can be no doubt anymore that SeniorBuzz is trolling after that last post the Buzz portion made; that or SeniorBuzz really is Tyndall or related to him.

So, how did Texas do in 2014-15? They finished 8-10 in the Big 12, tied for 6th place, and 20-14 overall. Rick Barnes was then FIRED!

The NCAA's case against Tyndall sounds like they are a paper tiger, whereas Adam Howard is a KNOWN LIAR! They have built their proof about Donnie based on the testimony of a cheater, who lied twice to the NCAA, and then lied about his boss on a 3rd occasion when given immunity to do so. Now, instead of having a deserved 8 year show-cause for himself, he is gainfully employed as an assistant coach at Troy. Outside of that, where has the NCAA proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that CDT ever knew that academic fraud was taking place right under his nose? 40 other people involved in this case don't believe that he was involved!

Some people with deep pockets have confidence that Donnie is a reputable person with much to give to the youth of America. If they didn't, I doubt that they would be funding a prep academy so that the kids there could get a 2nd chance to realize their dream of one day being able to play college basketball!

 Average player star rating per verbalcommits:

ETSU 2.333
UT 3.038

and for comparison:

VCU 2.972
Wichita 2.778
Gonzaga 3.141

SoCon 2.100
SEC 3.069

Circumstances favor the bucs this year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them win, but talent favors the vols so they should be the better team down the road. As we all know, the vols still need to add some talent to be where we want them to be. :zeitung_lesen:

BTW, I don't mean to be offensive or disparaging to SoCon players or fans (I live in WNC, and I know SoCon teams play good bb), but every player has a ceiling, and the ceiling needs to be higher for the SEC. That's just the way it is.

You said "picked to be..." meaning preseason. And he was picked that in his last year. Don't get mad at me when I prove you wrong based on your parameters. You, and your partner, act like teenage girls whenever you get proven wrong.

Don't think your comparison is valid since Forbes has mostly jucos and transfers and returning players. Don't even know how you came up with those numbers. One of Forbes' rs transfers was a 5* recruit at Indiana.

Buddy, I hate to say it but you are crazy. There is zero evidence circumstantial or otherwise that says DT knew anything. Rick Barnes knew more about the fraud that took place under his watch. Shall I prove that?

You can't prove anything. All you do is post loudly and be all narcissistic.

SD, at any point are you going to be satisfied with an outcome on the Tyndall case or will you continue to tilt at windmills no matter the outcome?

I won't argue with the crazy part, but you're blind to Tyndall's biggest blunder.

He did the same thing Pearl did. Lied, failed to cooperate at first and tried to cover his ass. He got a 3 year show cause for minor offenses.

Even if as you say Tyndall didn't know about the fraud, he has done many things that make it look like he is uncooperative, lying, destroying evidence and fabricating false evidence.
That's why he's being made an example of using circumstantial evidence against him.

I told you where I got the numbers, verbalcommits.com.

Of course you don't think they're valid, they don't fit your agenda. So what else is new?
