How loud is the screaming going to be if Penn State keeps this up and blows USC out? You know, how they deserved to be in the playoffs.

Ain't gonna lie, listening to Herbie and Fowler talk about how quickly Penn State has turned it around, 5 years after unprecedented sanctions that were damn near a death sentence .....got me feeling more than just a little irked at Butch Jones right about now.

Barkley best back in America...with all due respect to Cook. PSU is nasty. Once they got their dline healthy, they have been ridiculous. Still don't believe a 2 loss team has an argument for playoff though.

He's a great coach. Can't argue it anymore. If Butch doesn't work out, he'd be be number 1 on my list to go after.

Yeah, I see all these schools make turnarounds in a couple years. I don't care how "bad" our program was, we were still recruiting in the top 20. No way it should take 7 years to rebuild a program.

A buddy of mine, who is a huge Chargers fan, said he is hearing noise that San Diego may go after him for their open spot. I wouldn't be surprised if he is coaching in the NFL next year.

To be fair, PSU is in the Big10 and week to week have a much easier schedule.

Yep. What he's done at Penn State is nothing short of spectacular. And after the Pitt loss a lot of people (including myself) wondered if he should be fired.

And he'd never come to Tennessee at this point. I think 95% of the reason he wasn't pursued after Dooley was fired was because he was at Vandy and it would be too much of a blow to the ego to ask your little brother's coach to be your own.

Penn St and Tennessee are very similar. I see no way he would leave a top 15 job for another top 15 job.
