The Big 10 was better than the SEC this year. I know that's a big blow to "SEC Nation" (hell, I'm even a part of said group, I guess) but they were. The ACC and Pac 12 were probably better too.

The SEC was on top for so long but the depth that used to be there has been gutted. It was a couple years in the making but this year it really showed; there is a ton of mediocrity in the SEC outside of Alabama. It's time to accept that other conferences are more competitive now and move on.

Getting more love as a conference than they deserve. It's not an sec vs big10 thing. It's a media loving big10 thing. They conference is slow. Are they better than sec this year, maybe. But I'm not convinced. Are our best three better than theirs? Maybe, maybe not. Is our mid-bottom better than theirs? Unquestionably.

Again...ACC top to bottom gets my vote

They have 4 great teams whereas the SEC has the best team and then a bunch of mediocre teams. But I agree that the big 10 has terrible low tier teams and the SECs is better. But who cares? Big 10 is a better conference this year due to actually having more than one good team.

Dump the conf champ games. Power 5 regular season get in plus three wild cards. 8 team playoff with four games on the Saturday that the Dollar General bowl and the like are played.

OK, I've got Franklin's boys +7.5 as the 4th winner in a 5 game parlay. I am looking for confirmation that it's a lock at this point.


I am about to hedge my 5th game (OU -3) with half the parlay payoff...making me a winner either way. It's not like you can count on Big Game Bob to close the deal on a 5 game parlay, right?

Thoughts? Clock is ticking...
