11-2: BE HONEST…..

I just would love to beat the Dawgs so damn bad. I’ve never seen so many GA fans in NE TN prior to the last 3 years. They’re ridiculously obnoxious.
Be thankful you don’t live in Georgia. They’re insufferable right now. I’m torn on whether I want to beat them on a last second FG or win comfortably. Just get it done and restore order.

Overall record…don’t know. That oblong ball takes some funny bounce’s sometimes. What I do know is that I’m going into every game this year thinking we’re gonna win.

Who really expected that after Heuple’s First season (7-7 with a bowl loss to Perdue) that we would be 11-2 last year / #1 Offense in the nation / Breaking streaks to Florida & Alabama / In the mix for the CFP / and beating Clemson in the Orange Bowl with our 2nd string QB?

I have looked forward to Tennessee football EVERY year - And several times I have been disappointed…..

But, I have not had a feeling of anticipation for a football season like THIS year for a VERY LONG TIME!

GO VOLS!!!!!

Thing are turning around! Best thing to happen to recruiting in decades. We are starting to get a lot of traction with these high 4 star and 5 star players. That is key!

I think my overall point is that there was a tremendous chemistry between Huepel, Hooker, and the wide receivers that really just clicked. That is not easy to recreate, even if you have nothing but incoming 8 start players. And so his statement that not much has been lost in terms of talent, well, I beg to differ at this point.

Look, Milton this year might be better than Hooker was last year. I doubt it, based on what little we have seen of him so far. But its not impossible. And again, even if individual players are better, including Milton, you still don't know if it will work like it did last year.
