Says he got down there early so he could experience a full gameday. Talked with Saban and he told him even though they're deep they're not that experienced and he could compete right away at safety possibly even though Saban wants him as a corner. Said Bama played great and he enjoyed watching the secondary make big plays.

Regardless of what Saban told C. Jones, it is very doubtful that he would see the field much there except in mop-up duty before his junior year. Bama is loaded with DB's.

UT is where he can compete for early, meaningful playing time, not Bama.

Were you there? Jones didn't have a whole lot of blocking. I saw one TD from 3 yards out but i missed the second.

so hes made visits to bama and UT who most people believe are his top two and who hes deciding between. With that said, has there been anything that might hint towards a decision or just news in general?

Has he already took his visit to UT? I did'nt see that anywhere.

i thought it was confirmed not that he made it but that he was coming. no comments though i guess or we would have heard something.

I thought I read somewhere that he was coming for a visit on a later date, maybe the Bama game? I could be wrong on that. I know Vincent Dallas is suppose to be here for the Bama game.

LV -- I thought he had been here at least once this Summer (for camp, I think), and in the back of my dingy mind I seem to remember his being here one other time.

I am getting a bit long in the tooth, though, so I could be wrong.

I think if we pull Jones and King then add them to Teague and Gordon we'll have some true playmakers at CB. We haven't had these type of guys playing on our side in a while. Also LV are we going to still go after Walls hard or is he gone? Looks like this staff likes Marcus a lot.
