Jones had two TDs in a 34-6 win tonite. He looks like he's gotten faster. Going to probably go to one of his games in the next two weeks.

Didn't know he scored 4 times just saw two on the highlights. I want him more than any other DB/skill player prospect. Yeah I'm bias as a former alumni.

opposing coach said he's seen alot of talent in this area over the yrs , but none like Jones.

I think the coaches called him yesterday... this is bryant's quote from twitter:
"Hearing that we are doing really well with Alabama DB Chris Jones we have really moved up there."

Signing Jones would be HUGE. He is way underrated IMO. It would also help free up Randolph or Martin (or both) to make the move to OLB.

At some point do these DB signings scare some of these kids off? Are Martin and Randolph open to a transition to LB?

Not sure if this was posted already. Other day Jones told me TN, AL, UF are top 3. (SHHH... Don't tell anyone I was here!) Peace!

I don't think so. Walls has been saying for a while that UT is taking 6 DBs and doesn't seemed to be scared off by it.

I think they will be open to playing wherever gets them on the field the quickest.

this actually reminds me of a thought I had a few days ago...didn't UT used to take safety's +rb's and make them LBs, take LB's and make them DE's and then take DE's and make them DT's? that seemed to work pretty well for us back in the mid-late 90's

Al Wilson and Raynoch were Safetys. Westmoreland was a RB.

Minor has Carver high tomorrow not much competion if ask me. I'll be the game. I'll try and get some pics if I can. Carver not really known to be a powerhouse here in town. See ya after the game.
