'11 ATH Jabriel Washington

I see why. On defnse this kid does not want to hit anyone. He got run over by number 3 and tries to hand tackle too much. This kid is not that impressive on defense IMO.

people like you would say Chris Donald was a monster in the state playoffs and DHightower looked soft in his tackling as well. The kid will be a good player for Bama so just move on with this thread. Enough with amateur talent evals...

Wanna make a bet on that?

Just calling it as I see it just as anyone would. He is not SEC quality on defense or at least not right now, maybe that's why Bama can take him and afford to give him time. The kid got demolished by the running backs and he is hand tackling peoples legs.

Then why does Washington have more SEC offers than both of them combined?

Why did Donald? He's an athlete and they think it translates... fact is jabriel isn't that good of a corner and Donald wasn't a good linebacker. Now if he was a slot wr he would have a better shot.

volnation posters can judge talent better than CNS. awesome.

People miss on prospects all the time. Jabriel is not a good corner just like donald wasn't a good linebacker. Tino and Coleman both project better at corner.

He has been burnt on two passes and that big run. Just haven't seen much from him. And did I hear correctly that Signal Mt. has had 500 total yards of offense.

What does that have to do with anything?

Washington's a talent but he'll need a couple years before he makes an impact.

We will revisit this when 1. He transfers or 2. He is sitting on bench his junior year. He will not be a good sec corner maybe a good slot wr but the argument that since I'm not a coach is dumb. If that's your argument then there should be no message board as we couldn't criticize anything since we aren't college coaches. News flash, Saban misses on players. Dooley never pursued jabriel and wouldn't take his commitment now.

Signal's done that to every team they've played, including South Pittsburg, who won a state title yesterday.

We tried to get back in on Jabriel back over the summer. He wasn't having it.

We wouldn't take a commitment from him now though IMO.
