'11 ATH Jabriel Washington

Just to clarify something that some fans seem to think or elude to that the staff is not doing there job.

During the evaluation period, college recruiters are allowed to visit high schools and meet with coaches, administrators and guidance counselors, but are barred from actually making contact with any prospect.

per the NCAA

Saban knows how to get around this rule better than anyone. Ask Keiwone Malone.

I don't think he will ever start at Alabama. At least not from what I've seen today. JMO though.

Alabama does not have any great Wr's like the Vols do. He has a much better chance at playing time there, than With the Vols IMO.

He is a corner. And I'm surprised Bama likes him as much as they do....he's no doubt talented...just doesn't look like he has the frame for their system. It will take him a while to get to 190-195 like Saban prefers his corners to be.

All Bama. But our coaching staff seemed to prefer Tino & Coleman over him anyway.

I see why. On defnse this kid does not want to hit anyone. He got run over by number 3 and tries to hand tackle too much. This kid is not that impressive on defense IMO.

ok. thats what i was thinking but there was a surge in posts in this thread and was wondering what was up w the discussion

His team was playing in the state championship game today. That's why I bumped it. I know he's committed to bama, but you got to think Dooley hasn't given up recruiting this guy.

Coleman and tino are both better prospects at corner. Jabriel is about like Chris Donald. Jabriel is a beast on offense running that offense against very bad teams like Donald was good at RB in hs. I went to Milan and their gameplan was to run at Donald because he couldn't shed a block.
