Again I don't know which "Auburn fans" are always being referenced to on this board or where they got this reputation. They did finish up with the number 4 overall class last year, right ahead of Alabama.

Well I'm not going to argue semantics with you but based on posters on the main board at Rivals they are more than confident he will sign with them....

And quite honestly...as ridiculous as that fan base might be...they have WAY more reason to feel confident about his signing than we do...

They have it straight from the horses mouth that Wright is bordering on committing to them...all we have are a bunch of internet rumors about a "silent" and his consistent naming of us as a favorite...

If the roles were switched and Wright had said things about UT like what he said about Auburn (i.e. "Just counting down the time til I commit")...and Auburn fans were still trying to say he was actually a commit to them...you know we'd be telling them how stupid they are for believing that

I think he projects best as an end in a 3-4 system. He has thin ankles and knees and most coaches don't like that in offensive lineman. He is very raw however and will take a little time at either position.

I'm on a full ride here so I certainly don't hate them. I just get tired of people on here wondering why they ever get big recruits and saying their fans think they will get every recruit. In my experience, bama fans are WAY worse about that.

I see your point. I was just trying to say I talk to a lot of Auburn fans about recruits that they and UT are after and they are confident but will admit that UT is gaining ground in a hurry.

I looked up his stats but could not find any tackle numbers on him. He may not have played yet. I believe Christian Jones has played some for FSU.

Good deal...I guess I need to put into perspective the Auburn fans I've interacted with...it's not exactly the cream of the crop over there on the Rivals main board...

I totally believe we have a great shot...my only point was I don't believe in this "silent" we have from him right now

Haven't heard anything bout him much I saw in another thread where he is supposed to be here next week.... Does anybody think we have any shot of turning him?

Thanks, I remember I was feeling pretty good about him when he said he was coming for a visit and then didn't hear anything from him in about a month.... We need guys with his versatility to play inside or on the edge

Agreed. I'm shocked that he'll be here. Still a very tough pull, though. But it's always good to get somebody into Neyland. This week's game is extremely important in so many ways.
