Though committed to Florida State, Giorgio Newberry says UT still in running GoVolsXtra

I like what I hear in this article. Our coaches are doing a good job. I like the way they go about business. Some of course want playing time....but one player (Giorgio Newberry) I think liked the way he was treated when he did not commit. He also said..“I want to get on the field as soon as possible,” he said. “It’s always good to get early experience on the field. As you get older, you should be ready to go.” :compute:

I already feel a merge coming.....:shades:

And Matt has heard that Gabe Wright is a silent commit.

That's the best recruiting news I've heard all year.

So if we're lucky enough to land this guy where would he play at Dline or Oline? I think I remember most scouts saying he projected to Oline better.

I want really badly to believe he is a silent, and part of me does, but part of me also remembers the Jeff Luc saga from last year..................hated the "silent commit" notion after that. :banghead2:

I would be willing to wager that I interact with "a few" more Auburn fans than you and I have heard nothing about a silent for them or UT. They feel confident about signing him and why shouldn't they with everything he says publicly?

Again I don't know which "Auburn fans" are always being referenced to on this board or where they got this reputation. They did finish up with the number 4 overall class last year, right ahead of Alabama.

Honestly, what do you think other people have to say about UT fans? I mean, read some of the crap that gets posted here sometimes by people who just have no clue (whether it be coaching, football, or recruiting).
