UF offered him as an athlete instead of rb or olb. Still early but with Bama having Richardson and the lead with other backs, I don't see him at Bama as a rb.

We are needing Running Backs in this class. Saban runs a multi-back system and you always need more than you use anyways. It'd be Eddie Lacy, then we are lacking after him as far as stud or everydown backs go. Signing two this year would be great.

I think we'll pick up Crowell. I haven't heard much on Wilder, but if a top RB wants room at Bama, Saban will make it work. We would LOVE to sign two backs this year. We didn't sign any really true RBs last year. And with a talent like Wilder, you make room for him anywhere. We'd give him a shot and RB and if he didn't pan out Saban could put him in his beast defensive system.

But like I said, all quiet on the Wilder front on the Bama side. I haven't heard much of anything about him from anyone.

No offense, but Saban will tell a kid ANYTHING he wants to hear to get him signed. Then worry about where to put him later. He does it every year.

Bama will be in this. Whenever you win the NC and have a Heisman Winning RB as a Soph, you are going to get alot of interest from the top RB's in the nation.

Doubt it. Wilder wants to be the main back... And Bama is going to land Crowell IMO.

I was thinking this kid was a running back the whole time. They showed the clip of him running over and past kids on ESPN. He looks like he could be something special carring the ball at the next level. Never can have too many 220-230 lbs rocks with good feet and toughness carrying the ball.

Will be a long recruitment so you never know, but would personally be shocked if this kid left the state of Florida.

Going to be a hell of a fight for his signature.

even though it's FL competition he's still athletically superior to a lot of those kids. will be interesting if it translates to the next level.
