How big of a pickup is Paul? I haven't done any research on him, because I

According to FL people, he's one of the most underrated kids in the state. Huge pickup if true.

He is in the 5 top LBers in the state of Fl IMO. So he is a huge pickup given our need at the position.

Man that would be awesome!! I don't care what Marcus is telling the media, I really think he committed this weekend too but is waiting til the UA game. If true we just had a huge weekend. Not to mention Byron Moore either.

If true about landing Paul, would that pretty much eliminate any chance we had to land Dawson. Paul is a huge pick up alone, but LB is a great position of need for us and adding Dawson will definitely help fill that need! Anyways, Go Big Orange and welcome to Big Orange Country Gionni!:loco:

I'd take Paul even if it meant losing Dawson.

This would be a HUGE pickup.

No

1. We would still take Dawson even if we already had Paul, Johnson, and Harris committed.
2. Paul is more of an OLB, Dawson is more of an ILB. So Paul's commitment doesn't affect Dawson as much.
3. The current state of our LB 2-deep is a selling point for Dawson, whether we have Paul or not. Dawson knows we still need him.

I agree, as he is VERY underrated. His offer list alone is impressive, but my question is, if Dawson still keeps us in contention, would we be willing to make room for him? I know we have Harris, Johnson, and now hopefully Paul, but we have ALOT of attrition at the LB position. I think you make room for Dawson if the opportunity is there.

Yeah, we'd still take Dawson if he wanted to commit.

I thought you were asking if Dawson would eliminate us if Paul commits.

Who do you think we will have to send looking elsewhere, if need be? I know alot people claim Devrin Young, but I think that would be a mistake. We speed, speed, and more speed. Young brings that to the table. So with that being said, my best guess would be Carson.

Carson, and Thomas are the only two I could see. And I think those are long shots.

Too much need at DT to let him look elsewhere. At this point I think I'll just sit back and watch how this plays out. Don't know how the coach's handle this, but who would have thought a month ago we'd have issues like this!
