imo, saying Dooley is gonna do this or Dooley is gonna do that.....you know nothing of the sort. His resume doesn't exactly guarantee success. theres trouble in hills and it will take years for the vols to recover. in the meantime you guys can focus on our underachievements to take your minds off it.

you've crowned Rogers the next Jerry Rice and he hasn't even taken part in an organized practice yet. what kind of player is DaRick? no one knows! it's all mere speculation at this point.

you vols had a good run in the 90's and i'll give you that but Richt has the winning record these past 10 years in spite of the fact you've won 3 of the last 4. with all due respect, i'm confident Georgia is going on a little run of their own starting Oct 9th. :clapping:

As for Rogers...you chastise us for pumping him up but every chance you get you assure us he's going to suck...do you know what the word hypocrisy means?

As for Dooley...here's a fact...Dooley has proven with his stint as RC for Saban and with what he did this year that he's an excellent recruiter...

Here's another fact...we've embarassed you 3 of the last 4 years despite a huge talent disparity that went in your favor...

Do you really believe that 1.) We won't restock our currently depleted roster AND 2.) Once restocked the trend will actually reverse and UGA will play above their ability...

You say Richt has a winning record the last 10 years but conveniently ignore that the majority of that happened in the first 5 of those years...

3 out of 4 is substatially more significant than 6 out of 10 in this case when you consider that they came during the worst 4 year stretch in UT football's recent history

Again, what do you think is going to happen to you all when the talent level is equal or even favors UT?

it is not my intentions to make anyone "mad". just offering my opinions. this is a discussion board isn't it? relax. we have many vols that post on our various sites and their opinions are welcomed and countered. i never waste someone's time reporting rival posters. i do understand some people have difficulty with confrontation.

thunder, show me where i posted that Rogers would suck. just take marlon brown for an example. he wasn't ready for SEC ball. not saying that DR is MB but don't you think we should let DR get a few actual practices under his belt before we proclaim his greatness or lack thereof.

i do think Dooley is a good recruiter but he'll need to prove he's a good coach to stick around knoxville for any length of time. i never questioned Dooley the recruiter. you've got talent @ UT so what remains to be seen is can CDD coach 'em up. it's easy to coach a bunch of 5-stars, not so much with lesser talent.....a lot of questions about DD's coaching abilities will be answered in 2010.

I not sure you can equal Ga's talent simple because we have so much of it instate. The vols have to recruit 90%of their talent out of state. Not saying it can't be done just much harder to do.

6 out of 10....3 out of 4..... the reality is ...all that really matters is the next one. looking forward to it.

As someone else said Debell took Ward's spot. We have 4 oline commits (Nathan Theus will be 2012) and we are in good shape with Shell. The uga coaches know where they stand with Shell IMO which is why they told debell there was 1 spot left. Ward's ship has sailed. Debell is a heck of a oline prospect with great size and ability. Very excited he committed to UGA as we saw in this thread and in other vol threads you guys liked him a lot also and felt pretty confident you would get him.

Where do the vol's site with richardson? is he deciding before the season?

UGA has to get a commit from all that "instate talent" for it to do UGA any good! UGA only got commits from 4 of the top 20 recruits in the state of GA last year... and not one in the top 4 in the state of GA committed.

Teams lose to teams they shouldn't all the time. After what Wyoming did to Tennessee in Knoxville, you guys should know that better than anyone. However when you do win and go on to finish 5-7 it does little to console your fans as they watch other teams play bowl games. Like has already been posted you may have won 3 out of the last 4 but you guys have only won 4 out of the last 10 so we can cherry pick numbers all day but all that really matters right now is this next season and I wouldn't wish being a Tennessee fan in 2010 upon anyone.

When you get your brains kicked in 3 out of 4 times it's called a trend...not a fluke

And how far back are you going to go...if we go back even further and include those 9 straight then it's 13-7 for us...we can do this all day and it'll always end in our favor because we are a historically superior program...there's no stat you can bring up that we can't shoot down
