Teams lose to teams they shouldn't all the time. After what Wyoming did to Tennessee in Knoxville, you guys should know that better than anyone. However when you do win and go on to finish 5-7 it does little to console your fans as they watch other teams play bowl games. Like has already been posted you may have won 3 out of the last 4 but you guys have only won 4 out of the last 10 so we can cherry pick numbers all day but all that really matters right now is this next season and I wouldn't wish being a Tennessee fan in 2010 upon anyone.
Montrell,
IT isn't just a weekly whisper anymore.
UT and UGA are both historically better than Florida too. How is that helping either now?
Afterward the camp, coaches, players and parents mixed and mingled on Woodruff Practice Fields as media members who covered the event — there were several more besides me — wandered about and snapped pictures. As I was leaving, I spotted DeBell and Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searels posing for pictures. I can’t be sure, but I think DeBell’s mother was the initial photographer.
Seeing Searels and DeBell together arm-in-arm, I stopped and pulled out the trusty Canon PowerShot I had in my pocket and snapped a pic of the two individuals. Later Friday night I posted the photo on the blog I had written about DeBell and Theus committing and thought nothing more about it.
Then, late Sunday night, thanks to a Google news alert I received via email, I found out that Josh Ward of the website MrSEC.com is reporting that my picture may have been an NCAA secondary violation for Georgia. What’s more, he suggests that my very presence there Friday night may have been a violation.
The way I see it is that every Georgia commit could very easily be a decommit by November.
I have been feeling a Georgia epic collapse this year all off-season. Fans are expecting a major jump forward, media is trying to make them out to be the team to unseat Florida and I think come week 2 when they lose at South Carolina the fans will start to get very antsy.
Then if we can somehow pull the upset off their program/season will crumble and the recruits will be fleeing Athens in droves.
