I just spoke with him and it's safe to say that Tennessee had a really good day with him on campus yesterday for the unofficial visit.

I have some things to do this afternoon so the story won't be posted till later, but here's the short of it.

He was in town from 8:30am till mid afternoon. He sat in on OL meetings and got to spend a good bit of time with the coaching staff including time with Dooley who paid him alot of attention early in practice

"It was very good," Dantzler said of the trip. "I enjoyed it all. They have a really good staff, great facilities. The visit went well."

I had forgotten that Bill Mayo was this kid's coach.

I hope he still is come September. Last year's coach resigned. The new coach is probably going to be Preston Poag. I don't have know if they are anticipating any staff changes

Most coaches are teachers, I doubt there is any house cleaning going on.

Any updates on this guy? People keep mentioning OL prospects without mentioning Dantzler..

What info has come out to indicate that he is UGA's to lose? The last I read was UT was in the mix and he like his visit.

well we do have the fact that richt is the second coming of fulmer going for us. no disrespect to fulmer but he just lost his grip on the team in his last couple of years.

that one could go either way. apparently UGA screwed over Dooley Sr, in some way. guess it could matter if Dantzlers dad was more loyal to the coach or the universitly.

HA. Guys, there is no question here except when he will make it official. Adams didn't extend Dooley's AD contract years ago, but that will have nothing to do with this recruitment. As for Richt losing his team, when has he had a losing season? In the two worst seasons of his tenure, he has ended the season on winning streaks.

BTW, has Rogers qualified yet?

Actually there are at least two questions with his recruitment.

1 His father wasn't happy with the way Dooley was treated.

2 His HS coach pleaded with Richt to offer before Watts' father passed away and he wouldn't.
