'11 GA QB C.J. Uzomah

Like I said this summer, they want to play together they are friends. The coaches were right on with what they said about James re: Tennessee so I am guessing they are right on about that as well.

He is almost a Vol Lock at this point. I would say only thing is we will not tell him he is going to be a QB. He is likely a TE/WR type. That is what every coach or AD I spoke to here has said. But some school will tell him he is a QB and Lemay is a LB. What coach would do such a thing? LQTM.

yeah there is a school in gainsville , FL that does that kinda recruting.

i dont think uzomah will ever be as good as jevon sneed, and sneed isnt great, if he does play QB somewhere.

Auburn looks like an early favorite for North Gwinnett quarterback C.J. Uzomah. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound junior participated in the Tigers’ Junior Day last weekend and raved about the one-on-one session he had with offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn. “We run a similar offense at my school, so I am sure I would not have to make too much of an adjustment,” he told AuburnUndercover.com.

I would think our chances of landing him would be good if we went after him considering we landed JaWuan. Could he convert into a TE? He has the size at 6'5" 230.

"They are in the thick of things," Uzomah said. "It's not to far away from home. Distance isn't too big a factor but it is nice that is pretty close. I know people that live in Tennessee and have friends like Juwuan that go there. I've heard great things and I want to go up and see for myself."

"I think it's everything," Uzomah said. "Academics, being able to play for a few years, good fan base and being comfortable in the community. No fans that will start booing you when you lose one game. I want to be around a team that gets along and has good team chemistry. I think those are all important factors."

I thought of this kid as an athlete until I watched his film today and he could definitly be a college QB but it will likely have to be in a spread offense...it's likely pro style teams will be looking at him as an athlete...I think auburn makes a lot of sense for him...especially if his heart is set on QB

I really dont know about his college abilities. But he has a cannon for an arm, great touch pass and good awareness. He also is very tall which is a plus

If he came to Auburn he would be a QB, if he went to Tennessee I think he might get a shot at QB before moving on to another position, be it TE, LB, etc. He told Scout on the 15th that Dooley was visiting his school this week.

Per AJC today (see their recruiting blog). Uzomah will attend UT Junior Day. Hope McGowan shows up as well. SIAP

His friendship with James certainly helps but he seems determined to play QB. Does anyone know if he did indeed make it to Junior Day?

"I think all three were great experiences for me. I would still like to see Tennessee and meet the new staff. Hopefully I will get a chance to go see Florida and LSU and possibly South Carolina."

Per Rivals...

Looking at Dooleys offense from La Tech I think CJ would be a great fit for us I would take him before Wegzyn and Maybe even Driskel

My I.Q just dropped 30 points by reading this post.
#1 if we get Uzomah, it will not be for QB.
#2 there are not many QB's we'd take before Driskel.

So you think we take him at WR? If he were to commit that is.

Do you think we'd take Worley before Driskel?
