'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

I think Hayes is a great RB but I think we are in on some much better RBs right now. I don't see how you turn him down though.

"I'm still considering Tennessee. I've been called, but I haven't been able to get to them because I've been busy today. But, I'll be talking to coaches throughout this week," Hayes said.

"Coach Charlie Baggett was my recruiting coordinator and I could tell he was really sincere and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He told me Tennessee was a great program and a lot of guys go in the draft," Hayes said. "But, that's not the number one reason I'm focused on, but it's a great football school and a lot of people have come out of there with a lot of success. DeAnthony (Arnett) is going down there too so he can feed me stuff about the school, it's a lot of things I can't even put my finger on (why he's interested in the Vols)."

Arnett has been in touch with him about Tennessee, the coaches have stayed in contact with Hayes & never stopped recruiting him. The relationship with the coaches will play a big role into what school he chooses.

"Hey Justice, whatcha doin' this weekend? After eatin' some turkey and dressin' with your family, why don't ya come down to Knoxville and watch us kick the a$$ end out of Kentucky. Sound good?"

That is telling to me.

Sounds pretty solid. Weren't we #2 when he comitted to ND? Would be happy with him and Tom smith. Bigelow is a game changer when 100% but who is to say he will still have that speed after he rehabs. Not doubting the kid just giving my honest opinion.

I just wonder if Hayes is a take if we are in as good of position as is thought with Bigelow and even Bellamy for that matter. If we have any chance at all I don't see how you take Hayes yet. Unless you give DY the boot. I really hate we took his commitment that early. He still would've committed late Jan if we needed him.

Take Hayes and drop Young. Had to do it.

Totally agree. People are crazy if they think Young is worth the scholly if you can sign Hayes and Bigelow/Bellamy/? in my opinion. Drop Young and just rely on V. Dallas or Randolph or one of our frosh corners to take over his special teams duty. People keep saying he is worth the scholarship just because of his impact on st. That is ridiculous. About 5 of our possible incoming freshman have the same likelihood of being a contributor on st.

I know this isn't going to be popular, but if the coaching staff takes Hayes, they could ask Young to greyshirt
