'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

If we can sign Justice Hayes and Tom Smith in this class I will be more than happy. They both seem like the real deal. Especially Tom Smith.

Okay the ESPN bashing is getting kind of dumb. That rumor section is for well.... rumors just like about 95% of what is posted on these boards. Here's the deal the Worley info they got was all from the ND board, I told you guys the whole time TN was in it, no big deal.

Back to Hayes, the stuff on Hayes on ESPN is coming from the guy at the ND site and the guy who runs the Mich St. site so it's no different than a rivals or scout story used from one of those networks on the TN site.

IMO as someone who doesn't root for any of the teams involved, I see ND, MSU, Mich battling for Hayes right now, with Tenn an outside shot. The kid needs to visit for you guys to be under consideration more seriously, time is running out before his season starts, so as time continues to go by with no visit, so do the chances. I have no idea if he's visiting soon or not, I'll call him just for you guys and see what's going down with him.

Don't take offense Jhop. Tennessee fans complain and moan about most things. One of them being ESPN. It probably goes back to the trailer park trash comment... I guess about 10 years ago. We appreciate your info though. :thumbsup:

IMO you're wrong...

MSU, ND, UT, and Michigan are basically his top 4. UT is not on the outside of anything.

Schools with an "outside" shot are Iowa and Northwestern.

hayes has visited five of his top six schools and is trying to get to knoxville before the end of the summer.

"my mother and father are working real hard and really haven't had time to get out. Just thinking about doing something with my grandmother or my grandparents and come down there. I have no idea what date, i just really want to get down there," hayes offered. "the coaching staff really knows that and pretty soon i will be down there. In the mean time i'm just letting people know that i'm just trying to relax right now."

IMO, the fact that Tennessee is the only school in his top 6 that he hasn't visited is an indication that we have better than an outside shot. Again, IMO.

Article from TOS about Hayes' recent visit to Notre Dame. Also goes on to mention that while on his visit he ran into another Michigan running back ND is recruiting, Gray I think is his name. Dangerous having two recruits from the same position, let alone state, run into each other on campus visits. Just thought it was an interesting read.
