'11 QB NC Christian LeMay

Yea it's a dumb idea.....whatever. Everyone acts like this guy is going to come to Georgia in January and start in September. It really doesn't matter that he is skipping his last year of HS football to enroll early. This guy is at least 2 years away from being a starter at Georgia. I would rather that to happen than to have a season ending injury and not enroll until June. He is still gong to be working out with trainers and getting ready for the spring.

Not to include Nick Marshall is coming to Georgia as well. He signed to play DB but he is a phenominal QB and could play QB if needed to.

What a horrible idea on the part of his father. Just stupid. You can see this kid is trouble from a mile away. Not only his actions are proving that, but so are his father's.

Would, not, take!!

You can't take a kid like this, especially after they have been groomed like he is apparently being groomed. Nothing makes a QB like game situations. All the training in the world is USELESS without game management.

The problem they ran into is apparantly any other school that he was looking at including private schools and Byrnes in SC would not take all his classes if he transferred in and he would not be able to graduate and enroll in Jan. That would have meant he would have to sit out of football until next summer. So now they will home school him until he goes to UGA in Jan.

Also if you read the article it does not say anything regarding UGAs position on this kid or if will they will still accept him.

One more interesting tidbit in the article is the father mentions Ray Drew as a current commit for UGA. I always thought he would end up there but he has not commited as I know of.

Specifically we want to thank UGA 2011 class recruits Christian Conley and Ray Drew for standing with our son and contacting him daily and Panthers wide receicver Kenny Moore and quarterback training coach Steve Calhoun for working him out over the summer.

The whole situation throws up red flags though, that's the problem.

you take this kid no matter if he plays his senior year or not. It is dumb to say you wouldn't take someone like him because he is going to miss his senior year.

Sitting out this year wouldn't scare me off from signing him. He'll be an EE so he's gaining a lot there. What might scare me, depending on the situation, is the reason for his suspension.

a cheerleader was being 'friendly' to him at the school and was caught by the principal who btw, has been fired

He got caught in a compromising situation with another student in the school library. If you notice hid dad is quick to point out it had nothing to do with drugs, violence, or weapons. Just a poor choice he made but like many have said he should be an EE. Now questions that have come up regarding his classes that he has taken that would not transfer to other schools might be an issue for UGA becoming an EE.

That caught my eye as well. I think Drew knows where he wants to go but I read the other day he doesn't want to make it public. His reasoning was that the longer he waits and the more recruiters that come to his school, the more exposure other kids will get but I'm not sure if his team has anybody on his team that is D1 material???

How dare you go against what Asylum says!!! He thinks it's a great idea so it must be.

EB did the same thing.

Not that we'd necessarily take 2 QBs but if LeMay lost interest in UGA or if something happens to their offensive staff before NSD..... I wouldn't mind seeing him go somewhere besides UGA.
