'11 QB NC Christian LeMay

He would be #1 Qb in this class if he was eligible. He will likely be #1 next year. Either him or there is a kid from Fl that people are raving about but I haven't seen his film.

probably talking about Teddy Bridgewater.

As for Lemay, it will be tough to pull him from FSU or UF, but Tennessee will be in the race without a doubt.

It's a good way to get intercepted. Period.

what do you think of LeMay ??? imo hes the best looking QB in the 10 and 11 classes, i put him ahead of scroggins and heaps even. 6'3 200, runs a 4.5 40, and still considerd a pro style, nice mechanics, seems to be able to work threw his progression pretty well.

Looks to be the consensus overall prospect at the position next year. He's a star.

Incredibly talented but based on highlight films alone, I like Heaps and Scroggins better. I'm sure a ton of coaches would disagree with me, so I'm probably wrong. I don't see him going through progressions at all.

Is this guy better than Braxton Miller?

I don't think so. Miller is the top QB and Bridgewater is the top player imo. Somebody on VQ said that Golson is the #1 QB on UT's board for next year, but I dunno...

I think Lemay will be the #2 or #3 QB. There are a TON of good QBs out there. Golson, Miller, Lemay, Uzomah, Worley, Douglas, Spence, Coyne, etc. Don't forget about Jake Overbey from right here in TN. He can play. If he was a 2010 recruit, Kiffin would be all over him imo...

2011 is just stacked. I have not delved into that class yet, but man when you compare the number of names on the board with this years class there's just a huge disparity.

Yes. IMO Miller is a bit overated.

LeMay is a Gator lock.

Golson is probably the best overall QB prospect in the '11 class.

no LeMay is NOT a gator lock, he does not want to play in the spread in college, he wants to go somewhere that will better prepair him for a pro shot.
i dont know why theese gator fans dont understand that, guess tebow is gona be the first choice in next years draft and an all pro qb too huh ???

they would say that.
You forgot Pro Bowl first year and lead his team to a SB victory. All in the same year. Making him the best ever. Thats what they would say..

Golson lacks the size of LeMay. He's good, don't get me wrong, but I think LeMay will be ranked ahead of him due to his more prototypical size.

We've offered both as I understand. UNC is said to lead for Golson.

too early, but that's me. i don't think this kids thread should be at the top of the recruiting forum right now.

When your QB prospects look like ours do this year, it's never too early to start talking about next year.:)

i agree with the comment about the prospects this year, but it's not time to abandon them just yet :)

I think LeMay may be ranked higher as well in the beginning.

The staff has Golson as their clear #1 target at QB in the '11 class.

I'd be extremely pleased with either of them.

I think Braxton Miller is overhyped by OSU fans. He is a very good athlete but he is not as good as they are making him out to be. Last year at this time they made Spencer Ware out to be that kind of QB prospect and he's just not.

If Golson puts on about 15 pounds and grows 2 inches, he'll be right there with LeMay, if not above. Both of those guys are Jake Heaps good. I've heard that Golson is the #1 target as well, although it's so early.

Exactly. It is way too early to have a real idea of how these QBs will turn out. This time last year, Jesse Scroggins was not a name that anyone had heard of. Heck, no one had even heard of him 3 months ago. Now, we are begging him to be the QB of our beloved Vols...

Sabo they'll be better than Heaps.
