What lesson did we learn today? Stalking and randomly chatting with kids on Facebook does not necessarily help recruiting nor is it any less weird than acting like you are really friends. Lesson learned move on.

ok harry hard-ass now here is a lesson for you. the kid told me to message him anytime i want to. he said he loves talking to UT fans. lesson 2, its not stalking or weird when the kid is like a year younger than i am. i dont act like im friends with him, i just talk to him every so often about football and to clear up any rumors that get started on here. Whenever he stops talking to me or tells me he doesnt want to anymore, i will gladly leave him alone with no objections. if you saw all the interaction on his actual page, you would figure out that he doesnt mind the attention at all. So piss off. :eek:k:

Indy, I'm not bashing you at all. I agree for the most part with your sentiment that if the guy doesn't want you contacting him he'll say so.

That said... a word of friendly albeit unsolicited advice. Don't post deadlines or certainties. Even if he isn't lying... his mind could change in a second of time.

It was confirmed by GT09, LV, and i think maybe even Jhop (not sure on that one though) that he was going to make a decision this weekend. look back in the thread a little bit, they all posted it.

I don't see anything wrong with to people close to the same age talking on facebook isn't that what its for. Some of us appreciate the info you younger Vol fans give us older guys.

well thanks. i know i appreciate the wisdom of you older guys as well. i agree that it would be weird if i was in my mid 30s trying to talk to the kid, but im 18 years old. i see no problem with it.

What you need is to help your grandpa get on that book of faces you talk about and let him talk that Patty into coming to Tennessee.

confirmed is when you get legitimate information straight from the horses mouth.

confirmed is not three guys posting what they read or heard and claiming it to be fact.

did he tell him face to face? over the phone? or did his little brotehr tell him while signed in on his facebook account? who the hell is IV?

GT09 called him and talked to him via email. i messaged with him on facebook. im not sure how LV spoke with him but im fairly certain he did. seems straight enough from the horses mouth to me.
