What do you think about the Rivals reporters who track down recruits phone numbers then call them unsolicitedly? FB people are just passively reading what a recruit wants them to read. Now, if you're one of the people who comment all over a recruit's page every day, different story. But you can't group people just posting info with those people right off the bat.

I visited Columbia to see a basketball game while I was in Chucktown in March. ****ty area - and no restaurants in sight. We had to eat some damn hotdogs at the arena...And they don't serve beer. FML

Columbia sucks and so does that garbage stadium and fairgrounds . . . with Bojangles being the only food option within walking distance. "Come find our tailgate behind the Rocket." Brutal.

The fairgrounds and all that concrete are what makes tailgating so good at Carolina. There's no where to tailgate around Neyland or campus for that matter, except the one lot across from the stadium and parking garage G by gate 10. Tailgating before and after the USC game in 2006 was probably the best time I've had at an away game (I've been to 9 SEC and 4 ACC campuses for games). Been to Columbia for football, bball, baseball and two concerts and love it every time. Other than being close for games, I'd take Columbia over Knoxville every time.

Much as I hate Bama, I have to say they have a beautiful campus. It is unfortunate you have to pass through the rest of the God forsaken state to get there though.

Just read the other day on a USC board one of their mods was pretty sure Martin was coming to UT. He said he just spoke with him and told the USC faithful they should not be optimistic in him commiting to USC.
