AA ball is the highest in D-II. Most who know D-II would agree that it is, week in and week out, the toughest in TN

You are right. And most D II teams travel and have to play an out of state team each year. At least in Chattanooga the majority of public schools will not schedule Baylor or McCallie....so they have to travel more.

6A and 5A > D-II

You might want to research head to head from this past season before making that statement. The 6A champion had two losses during the year......yes, both to D II schools. CBHS shut them out 27-0 and MUS beat them 55-35. Thought the 6A champs record was the place to start.

I know my opinion is not worth much, but I feel as though he is worth the scholly

He has been coached by a former great in Westmoreland so he already has a good base, now if you were to get him in the weightroom at UT and give him some CLT coaching I think that after a redshirt year he could be ready to step in-- and even more he's definitely smart enough to be an inside linebacker

Tennessee doesn't have the luxury of signing project players.

Here we go...don't listen to all the folks saying "TN high school football sucks, they don't produce enough D-1 prospects". Baylor plays MUS, St. Benedict, Brentwood Academy, Pope John Paul II, Ensworth, MBA, etc. All ranked top 12 in AA ball. The competition isn't "weak"

Cody's not saying he plays weak TN competition, he's saying he plays weak competition in comparison to other prospects. MUS, Baylor, JP 2 would not hold their own with FL 6A, or 2A for that matter. Teams like Glades Central, Lakeland High, Chaminade-Madonna, Bolles, Seffner, etc would destroy TN teams.

Don't worry Cody I've got your back. I grew up 15 miles from Belle Glade, 20 miles from Pahokee, and 30 miles from Immokalee. I've seen 22 years worth of FL HS football and 4 years worth of TN HS ball and it's not even close. Hell my two HS's have sent 2 to Miss St, 4 to VT, 1 to Miami, 1 to GT, 1 to Clemson and produced the Gramtica's...former NFL kickers. Pretty impressive for two towns with a combined population of 10k, and only 30 miles apart.
