Looking at his offer list, Washington and Cal worry me due to proximity. Auburn of course...he also has an offer from Stanford so grades are no worry!

It would be great to have two true center on the team!

Centers: Crowder, Cochran

Guards: Stone, Fulton, Bullard, M Jackson,

Tackles: Thomas, J.James, Richardson, Kerbyson, Posey

Guard/Tackle?: Schofield, Pair

Tight Ends: Rivera, Downs, Clear

Roster: Gooch, And others

Depth starting to look good.

heard he tried to commit on his visit. he was told to make sure tennessee is the right place for him and take his remaining visits. this kid is huge, absolute monster. seen him and tiny standing along side each other. he may not be quite as tall as tiny but bulkier.

That is huge...this guy and Tiny and posey on the same line would be formidable to say the least

Shoot, if you work him down 10 to 20 pounds, he's going to be a monster. I also liked what he said about the people of Knoxville. Great news.

Love to see these huge athletic freaks. Also, love keeping this West coast recruiting alive.

I wonder if there's a chance he gets switched to DT?

I'm just thinking out loud.

If he commits here, or somewhere else? Our DT positions stands for significant upgrade this year possibly, so I wouldn't really see him being switched to that position here, although he could be a McCullers-type NT. But, you know what, let's just end this talk by getting Cochran in here to play Center and Big Culliver in here to play Tank!

Here. He could be out NT in 3-4 packages.

He's originally from Alabama and grew up a Tide fan then moved to California for high school. Alabama was interested and never offered and but Auburn did.

He's teammates with Aziz ****tu.

He's thought to be a Cal lean at this point but lean =! committed so it should be interesting.

After watching his tape I really want this guy in Knoxville, a true center with some size and speed would be a huge boost for this offense. Wish I saw a shotgun snap or two in there too, just to see how he does there. Only one thing comes to mind if we end up getting this kid....

"It was good, it was a good visit. Overall, I thought it was a good place. I think they people were more attractive than the place was itself. That's not really a negative, I was just saying their hospitality and the way all the other people carried themselves is very respectable and they spoke way more than just Knoxville the city, although Knoxville's actually very nice," Cochran said.

"Really, just a majority of it was about an opportunity to play and they were really trying to put that one in my head and it was for a good reason because they were having some center problems this year," Cochran said. "So, he was just telling me there was a big opportunity to play and that if I come in with the right mentality and I come in ready to work I could have a chance to play this year. So, that was really appealing from coach Dooley and them. Besides that, he was just telling me about the Vol for Life program they have and other things that they going on on campus."

"I consider them pretty high after the visit. Like I said earlier, the people really sold the place very well and the o-line did a great job of showing me who they are and that's something I was really feeling because it's hard to find linemen in most places that are all connected to each other and all have the same purpose in line. So, I would put Tennessee up pretty high," Cochran offered.

Thanks UTVOL02.

Not encouraged by that quote. Just sounding cordial to me. Would love to have this guy, especially since O'Connor is out. He is a beast of a man. Just doesn't sound like he is that excited.

That's what skeeter said. Sounds like a VFL if the staff wants him.

That's right! I totally forgot about that. Dunno how that slipped my brain.

But you also have to think....did he swept away by the awesomeness that is UT, and then when he came back down to earth, maybe didn't feel so hot?

Hard to tell. I just didn't think that quote sounded too positive. But, with O'Connor writing us off, you'd have to think, if we take a OL, this guy is it.
