We may have lost Cross but we just landed Damien Jacobs 6-4 300 lbs. out of East Mississippi Community College from what I read on ESPN Insider. I think this was huge for us, especially with Mo Couch coming back next season.

Yes, I agreed with this earlier in this thread.

At one point this summer IC had expressed an interest (HS Coach influenced) in VA but that seems to have cooled. Not sure if that IC or VA decision. OW, have you heard anything??

I know that he had interest in VA. I think he is setting up OV's now. Should now something soon. If I was to throw out a guess, I'd say Vandy. IMO Franklin would love to get him for obvious reasons.

Won't have to worry about him if he goes to Vandy. The highschool he attends is horrible academically. There is no way he will be prepared to handle the academic side of his life there. Nothing against his intelligence, he will just be unprepared.
