JMO, but I don't see how he liked the fact that UT is trying desperately to get a top RB in this class either. That may have been a factor in his final decision to move forward with his recruitment. As long as the staff made it clear to him, I'm fine with it all.

What legit team isn't trying to get top tier RBs?

It seems like Cross was looking for a reason to go somewhere else throughout the entire process and the coaching staff gave him a reason. Thus, mutual decision.

Yes, I agreed with this earlier in this thread.

At one point this summer IC had expressed an interest (HS Coach influenced) in VA but that seems to have cooled. Not sure if that IC or VA decision. OW, have you heard anything??
