You may know this already but I just read this on ESPN this AM. I thought I would share...I hope the coaching staff can lock him in and we can sign him up...
"AUSTIN, Texas -- There seems to be some confusion as to whether heralded junior college defensive end Denico Autry (Scooba, Miss./East Mississippi Community College) will take an official visit to Texas on Nov. 19 or not.
Autry, who holds an offer from Texas, told HornsNation on Sunday that he thinks he set one up for this weekend in Austin.
But I havent heard from them so I dont know my status, Autry said.
Autry said that if he does come down for the visit he could be joined by teammate Brandon Moore, a defensive tackle. Moore (6-foot-6, 330 pounds) signed with Alabama out of high school when current Texas defensive tackles coach Bo Davis was on the Crimson Tides staff.
When asked what he likes about Texas, Autry said, They always have a good team. They always have a good program.
Autry (6-6, 245) did say that he was going to take official visits to Mississippi State, most likely on Nov. 25, and to Miami (Fla.). He wasnt sure when he would visit the Hurricanes.
He listed his top three schools as Tennessee, Mississippi State and Alabama."
