Yeah, but I think my head will explode in anticipation in the meantime. We have a whole 8 to 9 monthishes to football season again. I don't think I can wait that long. I mean, my head will literally explode and get my futon all sticky and crappy-looking. It'll be a mess, that's for sure.

The only thing I'm really worried about is Wilcox and Sirmon leaving, if Peterson goes to UCLA. That'd leave us in a crappy position. Very crappy.

Sirmon has alot more upside. Lance had his opportunity to shine, and didn't fulfill those expectations. Its the natural ebb and flow of any job. Sirmon is the younger, more talented, and has played in the NFL.

That would make more sense if the job they were competing for was starting LB. Not defensive coordinator.

What do you see as qualities that make Lance DC ? I personally have never heard anyone elses opinion so I'm curious. Sirmon just seems like a Recruiting beast, with NFL experience.

Love hearing that! With Sirmon and Wilcox becoming such great recruiters have they supplanted Thompson as our top guys? At one time Thompson was considered that guy but I don't recall hearing him mentioned as the primary guy very often anymore.
