That's strange, don't you think? Guy was in love with Texas A&M....wonder what changed? And also wonder why we aren't in it now. Hill, Watson, Bourque and Grice would be an amazing haul. And IMO, Grice could start from Day 1. Dude is a great talent.

I'd like to at least get Grice in for a visit, just in case Bourque decommits, which is very possible given his track record.

The only disconcerting part is that he is seemingly not going to be able to get into any SEC school due to grades

Assuming we go after Grice and land him (big assumption I know) do we ask Watson to look around or greyshirt?

"I'm no longer committed to Texas A&M and I'm looking for a new school," Grice said. "I decided that I just didn't want to go there with the coaching change and all that. I felt like it was the best thing for me to open it back up and see what other options I have."
"I'm from Houston, so I'm supposed to go visit there next weekend," Grice noted. "Auburn and a lot of schools are showing interest, but they wanted to get a look at my transcripts and see where I'm at before they offer and I have to send those out, probably (Friday).

"I'm not looking to rush things, so I might need to go past Signing Day (February 1st) and make sure I find the right school. I'll probably take a couple more visits and then decide."

As a freshman, Grice rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2010 and followed that up in 2011 with nearly 1,100 yards rushing and 16 scores.

I don't think we have room for another RB in this class. Unfortunately the coaches might ask someone to look elsewhere if they decide to go after Marion. And the fact that he might go past NSD is a gamble because UT cannot afford to save a spot for him only for him to go elsewhere.

F the gamble. Take what you have in front of you this whole thing seems kinda fishy to me and we are in on some really great players now pick from what you have in front of you, is he really that much better than someone that wants to be here? He got nervous about the comp. at his position and bolted.Do we really want another BB. NO!NO!NO!NO!wait I am not finished NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that actually true? I thought that was just an excuse some posters used for him not picking UT. I thought he just really liked A&M.

We don't have room right now. If Borque left, of course, but that kid ain't going anywhere.
