With all of the committments that we have at WR, CP isn't as important as he once was. That being said, I would love for the staff to land him.

Actually in addition to Georgia Arkansas has entered the picture in the last several weeks and I believ that he will officially visit Ark in January.Since he not an EE this recruitment will go to signing day .Now that Pig is aboard, some of the sting is relieved if Patterson does choose to go to Ga or Ark.

CP is every bit as important as he once was. While yes, we got some good talent coming in, to add an experienced JUCO WR, who is the #1 JUCO in the country, to a group of experienced Jr. WR in Hunter and Rogers?

CP is still extremely important. I want him in this class badly. I don't think that the staff would take Howard if they thought it would jeopardize CP. This guy will come in and play right away.

Well head to head when they are not in agreement, skeeter 1, OCI 0. Hopefully OCI ties the score on this one.

^^ Totally agree ^^. Patterson and Howard would complement each other very well. They would make a "complete" tandem (Pat & Pig??). Patterson's commitment is even more vital to this offense IMO

is 5 wide recievers too much to take in this class?

I really want CP--- and want even more to not have to play against him (UGA,ARK)

Man, we need this dude! C'mon CP! You know you don't wanna go to AU!! Come to the Orange brah!!!!!!!

Per Kipp Adams:

“I feel that I could have gone out there and made a difference for sure,” Patterson said.

Heading into his next official, Patterson says he has no leaders. Previously the 6-foot-3, 205-pound wideout visited Auburn and Tennessee officially, mentioning plans to make his announcement following his trip to Athens. That will no longer be the case.

"I like Georgia a lot, and I am looking forward to getting back there again this weekend," Patterson said. "I will be taking another official to Baylor on Jan. 13, and as of now I do not plan on making my commitment until the last minute."

Patterson was previously considered a midyear enrollee, but now plans on graduating in the spring.

Someone asked earlier about grade concerns with Patterson, and yes, there are some. Any time you see a JUCO go from EE to not an EE, flags go up. Will see if I can find out more, but obviously grade issues change things with the new 25-recruit signing limit.

I was very impressed with how Baylor handled their business this year. RGIII is a great quarterback and I could see him sticking around for his senior year. What's his pro prospects looking like at this point?
