EE's don't really sign early. They kind of just show up and start taking classes. They are enrolled before they have to send in the LOI, IIRC.

You remember correctly. However, when they enroll, they are locked in to that school unless they obtain a release, and then they still have to sit out a year if they transfer elsewhere.

You are correct on High School EE's but Junior College EE's actually sign in December.

Yep JC EE's actually do sign an LOI in Mid-December.

There is a new rivals article up with Patterson tonight. Patterson is checking out the vols in July and will be visiting UGA in July as well most likely for Dawgnight. Just an fyi.

Coveted JUCO WR plans return to Rocky Top

Hutchinson, Kan. (Hutchinson Community College) wide receiver and South Carolina native Cordarrelle Patterson is back in his home state enjoying his summer and some down time before returning for his final semester of school in the Midwest.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound wideout is also planning on a summer getaway later this month to Rocky Top.
