LOL, I knew you wouldn't like that. We have alot of work to do because this kid is a must-get for us. We need some WR's in this class ready to step in and play on day 1.

A.J. Green, Orson Charles, Muhammed Massaquio say hi..

I personally think A.J. and Orson should have been more productive. But Richt usually does a good job with WRs. Fred Gibson was a good player for a while too. Wooten is a good player there right now. I do think at times though that his offense limits a player of A.j.'s level. He should've done more to get him the ball.

Mo Mass and Reggie Brown say hello.:)

Hey UGA-ly, remember we are still WR U. For your Mo Mass and Reggie Browns we'll name our Donte Stallworths and Robert Meachems. And I'm not even going dig deep on you unless you want to.

Patterson is a must get for us this year. We have no impact players at WR right now. Hell say what you want 16 catches doesn't equal impact. Nor does potential.

Well Rogers and Hunter can be impact players for us at WR I would think.

Opposing defenses will not be able to cover Hunter, Patterson, and Da'Rick in 2012. They just won't be able to.

I really, really hope UT lands Patterson. He is 1-and-done talent. Patterson, Hunter, and Da'Rick would be the most talent UT has had at the WR position in years. Patterson would make Bray so much better as well. Bray could and would do HUGE things with those 3 WRs. Would put up big numbers.

Then throw in Arnett in the slot (who Hubbs said has surprised him since arriving to campus, said he was very elusive & fast just needed to add weight) :eek:hmy:

They will be impact players.

I understand where BreakerBoy is coming from, though.

Rogers and Hunter have basically gone off of potential thus far and haven't really proven that they can be full-time SEC WRs yet.

But Hunter is special. I don't care who gives me the "only 16 catches" argument. While he only had 16 catches, he also had 7 TDs and 26 YPC! Hunter is a special player and will do BIG things at UT. It might take Hunter a few games to get acquainted to the SEC season, but after that he will take the SEC by storm. Defensive Coordinators will know where #11 is on the field.

jmoore is right throw in Arnett and possibly Dallas and I think Tennessee has some impact players at WR!

I would expect that Hunter will have a frustrating year, at least at first, as teams will game plan to shut him down. If Rogers and Arnett/Rogers/Dallas can step up and make teams pay for that, it will be easier on Hunter, but if not, it may be a tough season for him.

Well I think you're right but I also think the running game has to be better as well and I think it will be.

Good point. The running game will have to be better. In fact, that is probably going to be a major part of the success that Bray has in addition to his own development.

I 100% agree. The running game would make it so much easier or Bray and the receivers. Its a must this year. All of SEC know all about Bray this year unlike last year. Not a slam on Bray just saying the surprise element is gone.

I hardly ever make predictions this early, but I think you're going to be let down on this one. I think UT leads by miles. A kid that comes to visit on his own dime "just to hang out with the players and staff," says a lot.

Believe me I think we'll have impact players at WR this year but as for now we don't. I think Rogers is going to be more productive than Hunter. I think Rogers will be more consistent as our go-to guy but Hunter will still get loose down field when Rogers is working the other side over. There aren't too many No.2 CBs that can handle Hunter or Rogers. I really like Dallas while others like Arnett. Hell we've got both so this is a good option for us to have.

Now Patterson coming in would guarantee that he sees some single coverage. If he were to go to Georgia he would see constant double teams. Our offense looks a lot stronger for the future than Georgia's too.

I'm not the one who brought it up. Sure UT has produced some great receivers. UGA just produced the #1 WR taken in the draft. We've also put some other WR's in the league. To say that UGA is where WR's fail is insane.

I never said that. But your WRs aren't on the level of ours as a group. I still think it would be better to come here as a WR right now than UGA. When Fulmer had the program I would've played for Richt after I camped with him and saw how he ran things. His offense was exciting around 9 years ago. Now I don't know what to say. He needs to do some different things. It still looks the same. Seems very very bland. Our offense did more from a creative standpoint with less talent.

It will be a lot easier for UGA to argue that UT has more impact going into '13, which would be CP's first season, in those two guys than we will considering we lose T. King and Aron White (TE), along with possibly/probably Orson Charles and Rantavious Wooten. That ignores the incoming classes, but it is a good argument.

At UGA, Cordarelle would almost be assured of being THE MAN the moment he gets there. Not so at UT with Hunter and Rogers.

I would love for GA to use that argument.

Where is Wooten going again?

As a Steelers fan, I'm very thankful for Hines Ward.

Im not so ureabout that. I think Patterson could be better than both of them. He definately could be the man. UT would definately be the better option with us having the better WR coach and better OC and its not even close.
