Hearing that South Carolina will be the team to beat when they offer.

That's possible with it being closer to home for him. This kid will most likely want to be a starter being a juco and if he graduated in 2009 he may only have 2 years to play 2 with him being a 2012 recruit... Does anyone know if that's correct or if he possibly went to prep school for a year to have 2 years to play 3.

Really liked his visit, everything impressed him and it was better than he thought.

He is not ranking schools right now it appears.

He said his UGA visit was different than UT's...it appears that he liked the Vols better.

His 40 was recently timed= 4.21, 4.26 and 4.29 (FRREEEEAK!)

He is on track to be an EE too and he wants to play immediately.

You have 5 years of eligibility from the time they enrolled in college iirc. Basically you a fb player can play 4 years and redshirt one. Medical hardship can get you a sixth year. That's just a jist of it. So if this juco player played fb in 09,10, and 11.... He's used up 3 years unless that 09 year was at prep school.

Talked to him earlier today and he seemed to enjoy his time at Tennessee on Wednesday. He said Tennessee was nice and he was surprised at the facilities and how big Tennessee football was.

I can't stand how so many players make these similar coments, "I was surprised to see how big Tennessee football is." Sometimes I forget these kids were still learning how to read in the 90's let alone watching football.

"It was good. I liked mostly everything. It was really nice," Patterson said.

"It was the facilities and how practice went and everything was organized and nice," Patterson said.

"I just want a place where I can play comfortable at and a place that I can play right away at," he said.
- VQ Article

Patterson claims no leaders & said that Worley is recruiting him hard to come to Tennessee.

He definitely looks like a great talent. Shows the ability to find the ball and go and get it. Can make people miss in the open field and slip off tackles
Bring him in next year figure he can learn the system and really emerge as another return specialist and reciever

I think the kid would fit right in with our WR corp to be honest. Big yet athletic like Hunter.

Tennessee may have an edge here in the presence of Vols freshman quarterback Justin Worley, one of Patterson's former high school teammates.
Comparing Knoxville to Athens, Patterson remarked how different the two experiences were to him.
"Everything was different. Wasn't nothing the same," he said. "I thought it was going to be the same and everything set up the same, but everything was different. Not good or bad, just different."
