'12 MO DT Ondre Pipkins

If we have room, we take this young man. If he can give us 10 to 15 good snaps per game, then he would be a great addition.

If we have 1 player leave the team, why not take him? Saulsberry injured and Picou possibly not making it in. An injury or 2 and were screwed.

Out of the office

You need to set up an Out of Office response then. Something like - "Thank you for your post, however, I will not be able to respond due to riding off into the sunset with the Three Amigos. I will respond with vague, sarcastic, yet all knowing responses as soon as I return which will be at random times throughout the year."

I'm kidding of course.

Because there's an opportunity cost involved any time you add a transfer who has to sit out a year, because I think we'll add a freshman DT who's more likely to contribute than a guy who made 5 solo tackles in 3 years at Michigan, and because even w/o Picou we still project to have sufficient DT depth in '16:

* O'Brien (SR)
* Vickers (JR)
* Johnson (JR)
* McKenzie (SO)
* Tuttle (SO)
* 1 or 2 frosh (probably 2 if Picou doesn't get in)

I'd feel a lot differently about adding Pipkins if he were a special talent, but he isn't.

Bingo. We can add a high school recruit to give us the same quality minutes. Especially if it's a guy like Brown.

Very rarely are non JUCO transfers "special talents" or at least IMO. Pipkins is a senior, so will he have to sit out a year or is it one of those graduate transfers?

If he could provide quality minutes why do you think Harbaugh is processing him out? We don't need Michigan's leftovers.

bc he helps the depth on a DL thats not as deep as your trying to paint it. But i know how VN thinks every freshman will dominate form day 1. Vickers is an unknown and you dont know how many snaps you get from saulsberry. Once again leaving you an injury away from being in trouble. Amazing that ppl dont understand it.

He doesn't help THIS year...has to sit out. That freshman and his good knee are most likely better options NEXT year.

I was under the impression that he would be eligible this season. Therefore only taking a scholarship for this season. And doesn't Michigan run a 3-4. Could explain the reason behind a lack of stats
