Most people from "the south" just lump everyone into "the north". Ohio, Connecticut, Iowa, California, it's all the same to a lot of southerners. Just as a lot of folks from NY/New England area consider anything south or south west of New Jersey "the south". I've lived in many different states and it's funny how this is really how most, who've never lived anywhere other than where they were born, think.

California and Connecticut connect though right? Don't all the states starting with C border each other?

is this kid a take right now?

I hope the would accept his commitment. I think if they did...it would take care of the Cross wavering issues. I would much rather have a kid who is firm with his commitment than to have one looking to bail at 1st chance.

Sidenote...I WAS all in when we got Cross and felt he would be the big back we have been missing the last few years. Things have changed.

Most Northerners can't locate Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Alabama on a map. It's just the land you drive through or fly over on the way to Florida or California.

Also, Ohio running back Alden Hill picked up an offer and he said the Vols are at the top with UConn and that a decision should come shortly. He really likes Tennessee after the visit.

If we lose Cross I'd take Hill, same type as RB as Cross. We really need a big bruising back that can chip away at defenses.

Cross has already said he is taking all 5 visits and seems to be at best a soft commitment. This Hill kid sure looks the part. Hill and Norfleet would be a good combo IMO
