Please tell me you don't have guys complaining after finding out you are getting arguably the best OL in the country, that some kid who is 6' 2" and goes 230 is not as highly ranked as they want.

You must not know our fan base that well.

the new Scout Ohio HS rankings have this kid at 47 overall and the 4th best RB in the state. Bill Greene said he made the highest jump of any other player. fwiw

He is a big imposing back. No need to question this, especially if Cross is wavering. If we could get a combo of Hill and Mathers that would be great.

I think before people freak out, look at the build on this guy. He may be a RB, but he could play somewhere else too.

I'm not sure about his competition, but I bet he has the potential to have a huge season. If anything, CDD has shown an ability to pick up a lower rated player who has a monster senior year. Let's see how that translates on Saturdays.

I could care less what either is ranked. Can the one block? Can the other tote the note?

After that the recruiting numbers are irrelevant to me.

From a NW article

When Hill capped off his workout with a 4.51-second 40-yard dash, MacPherson, it seems, was sold.

"He said I was pretty impressive," said Hill. "At 220 pounds, he said that I was what they were looking for: an explosive back with speed."

- Grabbed this quote from a poster on VQ. I'll have to look for the article.
